I thought the decor was rather nostalgic throw back to the old school banking institutions. Given that I had hoped to encounter some of the same throw back hospitality. Sadly I was met with the same 'rush rush rush' that all the other banks have going for themselves. Another point I'd like to make is that I called ahead to inquire about getting the help I needed, when I got into the bank I was told the complete opposite which frankly was extremely frustrating given I went out of my way in both the drive and in time I barely had time to spare so that I could take care of this business matter. All in all I would never recommend this institution, in fact I would HIGHLY recommend not bothering with this banking facility because of the lack of 'shared information' and the disconnected attitude of the employees there. It would seem to be a trend amongst a good deal of their branches from the scuttlebutt I'm hearing among friends and associates' shared experiences with M&F bank. Be wary and don't expect the 5-star treatment, that's the best advice I can give on M&F.

I understand the historical importance of supporting BoBs. I have a greater level of pride and community knowing my key finances are managed by a Black bank that supports our Communities ! May God continue to bless this financial institution.

The decor is a combination of old-school banks that I remember visiting with my parents when I was a child, and new designs as evidenced in the large and prominent logo placement on the walls. My only complaint here would be the personal conversations that I had to wait to be completed while waiting on line to deposit. But that is a show of good customer service, that the tellers and associates another customers very well in this location. I look forward to getting to know them as well for more personalized service.
