We ordered a 65" TV for our bedroom and on the day that it was supposed to arrive, they called in the morning and asked if we ordered an open box TV and we said no, we ordered a brand new one, but they still delivered it and said if we didn't like it for whatever reason they will send over a new one and give us compensation. When we took the TV out and set it up, it was broken. There was a very noticeable shatter in the corner and it was literally unusable, it would barely even turn on. Since we expected a new TV on Monday, October 2nd and we received a broken one instead, we were hoping that the replacement could be sent to us faster, but it couldn't, which we understand. However, they wouldn't even give us compensation for the delay of receiving our product and the time it took us to set up everything just to pack it all up again. And even though it was an open box TV, I don't understand why they didn't at least check if the TV worked after it was returned instead of just sending it out. We will not be using Best Buy in the future for any of our needs.

I recently moved to the area and needed a small tv and a printer for my computer. As I entered Best Buy Southpoint, I was immediately welcomed by sales rep Brian Choi. He was extremely knowledgeable about all their products and offered excellent advice. I was able to accomplish all my shopping quickly..one stop shopping with Brian I called it. I left a very satisfied customer.

I would not even give this Best Buy location one star. The lack of respect and decency is clearly in the training plan for the employees who work here. I perused the refrigerator and washer/dryer section for almost 30 minutes before walking toward the door because not a single employee asked me if I needed help. I was the only person in that section of the store when I walked in. Several people (not Black) walked in and received white glove service and attention. Feeling highly uncomfortable and disrespected, I decided to leave. The "Supervisor" Vincent, greeted me as I was leaving. I proceeded to explain the situation and all he could offer me was a useless apology. He showed no interest in helping or correcting the situation. He watched me leave and was probably relieved. I know losing my business means nothing to Best Buy, but they need to do better. I will take my dignity and my business elsewhere.

Shopping for security cameras was something I knew nothing about. However, the employee at Best Buy where more then helpful. I was pleased with the service and knowledge of the employees.

I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at the amazing customer service I received. When you walk in, there is a table located at the front. The awesome employee at the table greeted me and asked how she could help. I wish I caught her name because she made it a 5-star visit. I informed her of the product I was interested in, she went to the back to get it, confirmed with me that it was the product I was interested in, and walked me to the check-out. They seemed to be short staffed since there were no other employees at the check out. I arrived at the right time to receive immediate assistance, however, a line quickly accumulated behind me. Overall I had a great experience here and would shop here again!Side note: I think this is more of a Microsoft thing than Best Buy, but they should stock more sole consoles rather than the combo kits (console and game).

Ordered item online for curbside pickup and order was ready within a couple of hours. Curbside area is well organized and order was brought out by a very friendly staff member and safely put into my car. Overall, very pleasant experience and I will use this way in the future to get office supplies.

Mario was very friendly and super helpful. First came in to buy an XBox. I was apprehensive because I usually use PlayStation. Mario answered all my questions and knew a lot about the product. So I went ahead and bought it. I then came back in because my car wouldn't start in the parking lot, and Mario was very busy, but still wanted to help me find the Car Jump Battery Box for me. He wasn't able to leave the platform but he called on Brandon, his co worker, and Brandon said "So and So needs me really quick" but Mario said "He can wait. This young lady needs help quick please. Bring her to the Car Battery Jump Box located right over there in that case" and pointed where we need d to go. Mario knew they had them because he looked it up on the phone even though he was very busy and couldn't bring me there himself. Brandon kindly walked up to me and dropped what he was doing to bring me to get the box. We both couldn't find it at first and he did not give up looking for it. We finally found it and everything went well. Mario and Brandon get 5 stars from me and two thumbs up! Thanks guys!!

The BestBuy at Southpoint has some of the most incompetent people ever. I spent eight hours dealing with them yesterday. Yesterday, (12/28), I was supposed to have my surround system installed in my house. I took time off from 7am-1pm, and no one called or emailed to tell me that they were not coming. Once again, nothing is worse than the lack of communication. I called the BestBuy 1800-number and spoke to a rep in the Home Theater Department, and she assured me that someone would be here by 1pm. It turns out later, that I found out someone cancelled my installed apt in the system, and no one could tell me why. The customer service rep at the BestBuy 1800, the manager, and the supervisor, in the store, could not tell me what happened. I found this out as I drove to the store to find out what was going on; you could tell that this issue, didn't really concerned them. I was told by Vincent that he needed to call someone, only to find out that supposedly he could not reach anyone. I waited around and again; nothing was resolved. They said that the manager who made the schedule, was out sick with Covid, but they were escalating the ticket. It is now 12/29 and 12:43pm, and I still have not heard from anyone. As I type this review, it gets even better. Since my installed was cancelled, I was told to not return the wire that I would possibly need. When the site survey was done at my house to determine where the speakers should go before the installed, they did not even close out the site survey from when they came. This is a prime example that people do not do their jobs. In addition, I decided to purchase my niece and nephew some ear pods. Since my installed appt was cancelled, I decided to return the wire and get that money back. I told the supervisor Vince that I wanted my refund to be placed on a BestBuy gift card and I said this twice. He gets help from another supervisor, who disregarded and sent the money back to my card. She created the biggest mess and what concerns me, is if you do not use active listening skills, how can you be a leader and lead someone else. This mess caused me to stay in BestBuy another 3 hours before my issue was resolved. Since Vincent could not fixed the problem, I told him to forget it after 3 hours. Overall, I wasted a whole day with the most incompetent stupid people I ever met. Now, all you hear, is that I apologized. Don't apologized to me for being incompetent and not being able to do your job property. Now the store once me to wait another 2 weeks when they messed up the order. It is now 1:00pm, and I have not heard anything regarding my escalation. I guess, I will need to make another trip back to the store.

Their install messed up our vehicle and it's documented! Had a service installed on auto. At home, realized other functions related to the install no longer worked. Contacted the store and A.J the tech said he did not know why the other function stopped working and said he could not help me after spending about 30 minutes looking at the vehicle. We had to take it to auto repair shop only to have them diagnose the problem was related to Best Buy install and the shop documented that on our paperwork. We now have an install that does not function and a repair shop bill for something Best Buy either installed improperly or at the least, a defective part was installed. We have spent a great deal of time, money and return visits to Best Buy. If BB works with us to remedy this situation, we will be glad to update this review. Hoping they fix this issue and show customers that they care and follow up.

Staff was very helpful and quick. I went to be able to see the difference between several laptop protective covers and cases. Stock was low so it wasn't very helpful. Picked up a storage device that I wanted but noticed the the shelf below was completely empty. If you don't need to actually view the item in person just order it online. You will find the best selections online.

Best Buy has lost my business. My ex husband hacked into my best buy credit card numerous times and I had to keep calling and calling to get the information changed back. The customer service was horrible. During this COVID19 they don't seem to care that the NC has exceptions to the mask. They are the only store who can help with technical issues yet forget about you cant do curbside when you have technical issues. Another disturbing thing is they have a giant sign on the building enforcing government stupidity! Don't shop there!

I've been here a few times and have had positive experiences every time. I recently stopped in to buy a new ROKU and find a connectivity solution for my in-laws. I know the basics for routers and figuring out what I need, but beyond that, it's a little over my head. While I was checking out the new ROKU devices, a sales rep came over to see if I needed any help. He told me about all the new features and made suggestions based on my needs. That alone was helpful and we're very happy with our new ROKU devices. Next, I told the guy about my in-laws' connectivity issues and he took me over to the router section to show me a few options. He was very knowledgable about the different options and went on to explain what he had done recently in his house. I ended up going with his solution which was a mesh network. We had tried several different options before, so I was a little worried it wouldn't work. He ensured me it was really easy to set up and I could always return it if it didn't work. Well, he was so right! It was super easy to set up and was a total game changer. My in-laws can now stream all the music they want and stream Netflix downstairs at the opposite side of the house with no issues. They're both so happy. I also had a recent online purchase with curbside pick up from this store. I was able to have my hubby's name as a pick up person, forwarded him the email and he had no problem picking up our new TV. We ended up not needing the TV (We were staying in a long-term rental and the pictures only showed an old box TV, but they ended up having a TV that worked with our ROKU), so I brought it back to the store. It was a few days after Christmas and I was surprised that the lines weren't crazy. There were only one person ahead of me. I was looking for my receipt in my email when the cashier called me up. I put the TV up on the counter and before I could even find my receipt, he was done! They didn't even need my receipt and they sent the funds back to my card! When did that become a thing!? Fantastic! I've been impressed with this location. Everyone there has been very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. If you live in the area, I'd recommend this Best Buy for you tech needs.

We have used curb side pickup at this Best Buy multiple times during the pandemic and have had good experiences. Our orders have been ready within hours of online submission, and times from check-in to delivery at curbside have been very short (5-10 mins during a very busy Black Friday morning). The only issue we had was with the curbside check-in system. Most recently, we received the email saying our order was ready for pickup and we drove to the store. We used the link in the email to check into the app, and went through several pages to answer questions (e.g. car description, parking location) but ultimately ended up with an error in the app that wouldn't allow us to completely check in. We refreshed the app and tried several times. Ultimately, we were able to check in by using the mobile site instead of the app. Unfortunately, the store does not provide a phone number to call unlike other stores such as Walmart and Target. We tried calling the store number from Google but were not able to get through at all, likely due to heavy pickup traffic at that particular time. Before COVID, we visited to store multiple times in person. There were always very few customers in the store at a time, which meant no wait times at checkout and quick access to help from store associates.

I cannot believe that in this age, Best Buy still has a 15 day return policy. I have brand new, UNOPENED merchandise which is only 21 days old that they refuse to refund. I could have purchased it at Amazon, Walmart, or Target and had far generous time to return. More ironically, if I bought the same exact merch today, I would have until January to return. I hadn't bought anything from BestBuy in years; now I remember why. Totally ludicrous.
