Yesterday we had the almond croissant and pain au chocolate. It was a tough decision because it all looked so good. We loved our pastries so much we went back and got a baguette for lunch. I wasn’t going to write this review, but we were craving pastries again this morning and went to a different bakery which was a huge disappointment after how good Loaf was. GO HERE!

Great bakery! One of my favorites. Anytime I am going through Durham and they are open I have to go.

I would move to Durham just to wash dishes at this place. That’s how good it is.

I have been to Loaf almost every week since trying them for the first time. Their pastries are amazing and my wife loves their cookies! The staff is always friendly, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I haven't tried their bread yet, but I can't wait!

Best croissants in Durham by leaps and bounds. Buttery, moist inside, flaky delicate outside. And by croissant I mean the crescent shaped original ?, everything else is a <descriptor> croissant.Great patisserie selection and the staff is very helpful and friendly.Nice variety of breads. Unfortunately they stop making burger buns over the "winter". Dinged one star because of location, pay parking, and twice I have gone there on a day they are supposed to be open and it is mysteriously closed.

My favorite bakery in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. I have to have 1 to 2 slices of their whole wheat bread per day. I also enjoy their wide variety of pastries.
