This was a great center with great staff until about 3 weeks ago. The long time director left and a new director was hired, Toni. She has created nothing but chaos in this school for parents. She has un-enrolled at least 2 students for no reason. She did not work with the students or parents, gave no notice and just un-enrolled them. I have seen her very combative, especially with fathers. She is rude on the phone and does not want to hear anything. As a single father, this is troubling, and that is why I pulled my child. I miss the great directors Shamequa and Jessica. They got to know the parents and the children. I would stay away from this daycare. They also promote teaching kids and getting them ready for school, this is a lie. When I watch the video stream it is just the children running around.

I've worked at this center for a year and a half and I can honestly say that this is one of the worst places to work and/or send your child. The food was atrocious. The staff to child ratio was always off. The center was filthy with roaches crawling out of the drawers in the infant room where we kept the eating utensils. Parents pay too much in tuition to have their child eating a slice of american cheese and a piece of white bread as a snack. Parents pay too much in tuition to send their children to a dirty environment. This facility makes to much money to be paying their workers less than minimum wage with zero overtime. This was one of the worse places that I've ever worked for. RUN...... AWAY!

If you are considering bringing your child here, I beg you to reconsider. The lack of communication with the staff to the lack of supervision on the children brought us to have to pull our son out of this daycare after being here for only 4 months. I won't get into all of the specifics however I will say I was concerned for the safety of my child. Also, basically anyone can walk in since they are rarely in the front office with parents coming and going it doesn't matter who walks in - and they don't check ids.. I had to let them know after I dropped off my child (at 7am!) there was a couple waiting for a tour in the front office... I just cannot recommend this place for anyone who cares for their child.

I absolutely love this place. I have been taking my kids here since my almost 4 yr old was 6 months old. The teachers here are more like family than daycare providers. The Director, Ms. Shamequa is awesome at providing feedback, answering concerns or questions and she is very empathetic and understanding. They really work with you here. I am sad that we are in process of moving (more that 30 miles away), and I am having to relocate my children elsewhere. If I could take this school with me I would. They offer diapers, wipes, breakfast, lunch, and snack. Their playgrounds are age appropriate and fenced in. They have a mobile app, Brightwheel, that allows you as the parent to "text" the teacher and for them to "text" you. It provides updates on how much your child ate, what they ate, diaper changes and potty breaks, and picture of your child throughout the day. I can not say enough about this school and its teachers. Really sad to be leaving. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

This center is exactly what we were looking for with our child. The center is well maintained, the staff is very courteous and attentive to the children and the kids all seemed comfortable in the classrooms. You get a daily detailed report for your child and are made aware anytime something happens. This center also just went through a remodel and is VERY modern with new pictures and toys!

La Petite Academy has been a blessing for my child and me, as a single parent. Its long open hours and days are convenient for my hectic schedule at work. The facility is well maintained, the class rooms are age appropriate, and the staff is very attentive with the children. They provide transportation to and from the surrounding schools, (kitchen) breakfast, and snacks even for the parents; which is delightful and makes you feel right at home with your children. The coordinator is a wonderful person to work with, that is always willing to listen and extend and extra hand when possible. My son has attended this center since preschool, he is now in the 1st grade, and refuses to go on the big boy yellow bus; he will not give up La Petite. He loves the toys and creativity of the child play incorporated; for example “House Keeping” (???) A designated area in which they pretend they have their own home, kitchen, food, silverware. To sum it all if there is a place where my child can receive help in homework, safe play, and great care; then I can have peace of mind while I am away, I am forever appreciative.

The staff is very friendly. Transitioning to the next class is smooth and child-oriented. My sons are experiencing valuable interactions with children their own ages to increase social and physical development. Conveniently located by the local library for increased learning opportunities.

I have three children who all attend the school either full or part time. I love the staff because they have become like family and really care for my children. Communication from the Infant teachers through school age class lets me know my kids are in good hands. I do not know what I would do without these great ladies!
