I recently visited La Contable Tax Preparation Services on Guess Rd in Durham, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The front desk woman I encountered was incredibly rude, clueless, ignorant, uninformed, and lazy. Her demeanor was unprofessional and unwelcoming, which left me feeling frustrated and unheard.
I found the service to be severely lacking in customer care and professionalism. It was clear that the staff was not properly trained or motivated to provide quality service to clients. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business to anyone seeking tax preparation services in the area.
I hope this review serves as a warning to others who are considering using La Contable Tax Preparation Services. It's essential to choose a service provider that values their customers and provides the level of service they deserved.

If I could, I wouldn't leave a single star because they wasted my time and money. If you are a notary, you know what to do and try to listen to the client what they need. Don't worry about their assistant who doesn't know what to do or what to ask. They made a letter that didn't work. It was fine and they also charge you in advance and they did not return my money and I did not finish the notarizationBecause the lady said she couldn't, bad service, they are just being there, they don't know anything.

I have scheduled an appointment with them every year since 2019 and have been seen in a timely manner every time. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.

I’ve was here for over 30 minutes. I figured I would come early and wait for them to open. I showed at 9:50 and waited for 35 mins no one showed up except for more ppl that where waiting.

Service was bad. I had to stand at the front desk throughout the whole preparation. On top of that the person who filed it did not ask me for any verifications be made to ensure such as my address and last name. The person just assumed. So my address was misspelled my last name incorrect. All this has come back to haunt me this year when filing. My best advice is to go to someone who will go through it with you while also SHOWING you.
