This place is amazing. I trust them with my kids. The Jarvis's are brilliant, down to earth, and innovative. Their food is fabulous too. It's an experience to come here!
Jireh Family Farm, LLC (JFF) is a small, family farm located in Durham, NC established by Valarie Jarvis in 2017. After 20 years as a RN working at the nursing corporate management level, Valarie yearned to return to the land. With the desire to return to farming, an urban farm homestead was birthed to produce a small batch of fresh eggs for the family. Since 2017, the farm expanded the numbers of livestock to include pasture-raised pigs, rabbits, goats, beef, and meat chicken along with breeding livestock guardian dogs. Because of Valarie's passion for plants, animals, and people, the farm quickly began inviting guests to the homestead for farm experiences, classes and to share in her love of the land.
