“We came from NY just to stay at The Arrowhead Inn. The room and grounds are beautiful! It was so peaceful. And the breakfast served right outside the cottage was out of this world. I can’t wait to go back.”

“This redone hotel had decent rooms. They were of adequate size. A little noisy but the ac drained it out. Only a few floors with a roof top bar. Not open on Sundays. The lady at the front desk was kind, but the restaurant could use some work. The location is good depending on where you want to be. Absolutely can walk to many places.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews during the stay but the service here is exceptional. On par with the best 5 star hotels in the world. From the bellman, to the reception, just everyone is so hospitable. Rooms are very comfortable (we have a deluxe suite for a family of 4). The housekeeping is tremendous and very efficient. Room service is prompt.

Thank you!”

“My wife and I recently visited Raleigh as a result of the hurricane hitting Florida. Our first night in Raleigh was at The Double Tree Research Triangle Park. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this hotel, the service and how many great people work there. BUT.....for the sake of time, I want to highlight the font desk employee Shatyana Grant!!!! Wow, you just don't find this level of customer service anywhere. We arrived late at night very tired but Shatyana, was so kind, professional and made us feel as welcome as humanly possible. We were so impressed by her customer service that I hope she has a chance to read this and is encouraged in everyway.”

“I’d like to compliment all the staff I met at this hotel – especially, Ravine Maurer, regional sales manager. During the week of May 16, 2024, many of my friends and relatives reserved rooms and stayed at this hotel to attend my son’s wedding. When I was to pay for all their rooms, a bit of confusion arose because some rooms were already paid by the guests. I requested that all the rooms be billed to me, not to my guests. Ravine patiently undid all the tangled payments and correctly assigned them to my credit card. Throughout this process, she was patient and understanding and most importantly, willing to listen and help me get things done as I requested. I was very impressed with her. And I thank her deeply. My friends and relatives who stayed at the hotel mentioned very friendly staff members – Angelica, Jeneen and others, who were willing to help them every possible way. Due to their comfortable hotel stay, I think, they were able to focus and enjoy my son’s wedding even more. Thank you all – especially, Ravine!!!”

“This is my go to favorite place to stay in RDU when visiting Duke University Hospital. Nice facilities and comfortable rooms.

Rooms: Sofa bed, king or double beds, fridge and microwave, desk area.

Nearby activities: Lots of food places very near by.

Safety: Feels pretty safe. Some homelessness in the area but nice people.

Walkability: It's in a complex so everything is easy to walk to. Many vendors like restaurants and medical facilities and shopping.

Food and drinks: Many restaurants in walking distance.”

“I just checked in at Marriott Research Triangle. Tyra at the front desk was very patient, courteous, and polite . She took care of my needs in a timely manner. I always chose this Marriott when I work in this area because of the great service they provide. Tyra, thank you for taking care of me today, although it wasn’t easy.”

“A nice hotel in a loud area but that's not the hotels fault. Pool and gym facilities are a bit small.Staff were very attentive and welcomed me in everyday, the only thing being that they didn't replace the water in the room despite being there for 2 weeks.”

“If you're in Durham on business and there are any functions planned at the Convention Center, you can't get a better room in town for convenience.

Rooms: The rooms are roomy and well-appointed with a large flat screen TV and a very comfortable bed. The coffee maker set-up? Blah - NOT a fan.

Safety: This area seems well-lit and safe at night and most definitely during the day. We walked to many places day and night.

Walkability: The Marriott Center City is exactly as described... it's in the middle of everything, and conveniently connected to the Convention Center and the Carolina Theatre.

Food and drinks: Good food and drink options in the hotel and near the hotel.”

“Our son had brain surgery at Duke University Hospital, and his doctor recommended Staybridge. We were very pleased with this hotel. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good variety of foods for breakfast, which was very good. They have a room for exercise, and the pool is well kept. I can’t express enough how wonderful this place was for us during our four night stay.

Rooms: The beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Wonderful!!

Noteworthy details: If you need anything, the staff is glad to supply.”

“One of the last truly great hotel bars. I spend a healthy chunk of my monthly residencies here (I’m an EMBA student) and can honestly say that the bartenders are among the most amiable drink slingers I’ve ever engaged with. The drinks are as cold as the conversations are profound.

Whether you’re winding down with your team, pre-gaming for a night on the town, or trying to suppress your accounting-induced anxieties and general bouts of imposter syndrome, the guys at J Chou have you covered. ?”

“**Front desk is on the 2nd floor. Once you get off the elevator, make a left to front desk.**Really great hotel. Fun and creative art. Front desk staff is really kind and helpful. Good gym. Walls are thin, but rooms are spacious. Hotel in the middle of great eateries within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.”

“From the moment we booked our stay, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was tailored to our needs, making us feel truly valued even before we stepped foot through the door. It's not easy to travel with a 28-person team but this hotel and the staff, especially Lynne, made it seamless!Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and a seamless check-in process. The rooms were not only impeccably clean but also well designed, providing a comfortable atmosphere that exceeded our expectations.”

“We stayed here last night- the lobby and our room were sparkling clean. The mattress was comfy and the sheets soft. The shower was hot with great pressure. The hotel was quiet and I slept like a baby. Great hotel and great value - esp given they offer an included, albeit simple breakfast.”

“Jahnae was a welcoming, friendly person at check in. Hotel was nice. Yea it’s showing signs of wear but don’t they all. I was in 307, room was spacious, clean. Heat and AC worked. Great water pressure and temp. Yes two trains zoomed by but they didn’t bother me. The one thing I found annoying is the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and I had steamed up the mirror. Oh well trash can worked! Thanks for a nice, safe stay!”

“I have traveled for business, pleasure and now for medical reasons. I have finally found very nice lodging for myself and my certificated dogs. Very clean, so clean I took a bath, not a shower. That's huge! I have paid more for places that you wouldn't ever want to return again to. The staff is on par and will assist you immediately. Even without asking for anything, they have asked me on more than one occasion if I needed anything. I love the high ceilings and the large window to see out. The carpets aren't disgusting and the lobby is well-maintained. I'd recommend to anyone. I realize that many places like such have been around and were probably quite busy before video conferencing capabilities and of course COVID. I hope that this place is able to still stand, as it's not brand new, though super clean and room furnishings are not worn, etc. YAY!!!!
Although, I did not utilize - there is a nice pool too!”

“Great service, nice people, probably the best sleep I've gotten in a hotel. Very comfortable beds, and actually QUIET. Barely heard a peep from anyone. AC worked great. Nice hot shower, easy check-in and check-out. Close to the hospital and other restaurants. Fairly affordable for what you get, an actually good sleep lol. AND the 12pm check out was awesome.”
