The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Will never book with them again. 3 separate parties including my party were sitting in the lobby waiting while staff walked around us and never acknowledged that we were there; never provided updates on our reservations. 0/5 stars.

Worst experience picking up a rental car. Customer service was non-existent. Was not acknowledged by either of the two gentlemen working meanwhile there was only one other customer in the store. Was only acknowledged once I asked a gentlemen walking through the store if I was in the right location for a pick up. Once checking in an additional couple hundred was requested as a security deposit, since I was attempting to pay with a debit card I was told it would be ~500 dollars which some would be refunded upon return in addition to a soft credit check in addition to the hold on our card already for the rental. Would not accept a payment via phone for the additional amount. In order to cancel my reservation I still had to call the 1800 number. Overall do not recommend hertz for rentals. Was able to get in with enterprise immediately with no issues.

Adrian took care of me. It's a small location and it was super busy but he was patient, explained everything fully and made sure I had what I needed. Very appreciative for everything! The Polestar was a sweet ride for sure.

Need to hire more people and pay them adequately. This location is too busy to have 1 or 2 people managing everything. Wait times for vehicles can be an hour even if you had a reservation.

I had to wait 3 hours to get my car. They only have one person working the entire office on a holiday weekend on a Saturday. That is unacceptable! I will never use this location again. I was very happy with the car but not with the time it took me to get the car.

I returned my car 3 days ago and am still getting threatening calls from Hertz that my car hasn't been return, with charges to my credit card. (over 400 dollars extra) I have contacted Hertz HQ, but they said only the local location can close out the contract. Because no one is answering the phone, the suggestion is for me to fly back and visit the store in person - all because this location won't process my return or answer the phone.

Terrible customer service!!!! Made a reservation for my car and I showed up in time. Three employees there chatting and waited 20 minutes for anyone to notice I had a pulse. A car is a car, but customer service is what it's all about these days ... and the people here have NO IDEA what good customer service is! Go somewhere else and avoid the frustration!

I was a hour late picking up and when I arrived the older man informed me he gave my car away and I would have to wait a hour and half for them to deliver more cars. Then he proceeded to tell me I'm lucky cause if I would have been 30 min later my reservation would have been cancelled! That's not how you do business my car should of been held until cancelled. I had to settle for a pickup truck to drive my family out of town. The truck he brought me too was filthy on the outside and inside wasn't cleaned. He tells me it was but there is used napkins in the doors. I told him I would not take it until he washed it. Adrian came to me after the older man left to clean the car and apologized for the inconvenience plus tried to make the situation better. Adrian was a great help after dealing with the other guy. That's the only reason it has 2 Starz cause I would give it one! I only use this location because my AAA suggested it but I will be sure to use a different location that's further from my home to avoid this service that Hertz provides. Seems Hertz always have a issue with inventory etc. I'll try and stick to enterprise

*ask for Adrian* I guess I am the only one that had a great experience at this location! I came in at 5 trying to rent a car last minute, and Adrian was beyond helpful. He was super patient with me, as I was running into all sorts of issues booking, and was really friendly the entire time. Brian did me a huge favor when checking the car back in, as well. I'm thankful that I had a better experience than what most have reported.

Worst rental car place I’ve ever been to. The work efficiency is extremely low, take more than one hour to pick up a car. I will never come back again.

Horrible customer service from the MANAGER!! I reserved a Tesla days in advance. Manager said he didn't have any Teslas and later admitted to having several that weren't charged, while complaining about having to go charge EVs. They issued me a filthy SUV. The manager refused to clean it and said he didn't have any other cars, but continued to issue cars to last minute walk ins after hours. Key fob battery was half dead, also.

Please read and take the reviews seriously. The customer service that I received was horrible, from staff to management. I was overcharged on my credit card... it was painful trying to get my money returned...it took forever. When you call and arrive to pick up your vehicle, it is like you're bothering them. The lady who answers the phone is rude. I think customer service training or retraining needs to happen at this location in Durham. Great location, right off the highway, but so is Enterprize, who I will use next. I'll tell them Hertz sent me.
