The Harris Teeter Pharmacy on Martin Luther King Parkway in Durham did not have my medication. The technician at that location found the medication I needed at the Harris Teeter Pharmacy on Horton Rd. in north Durham and transferred my prescription to that location. The technician from the Harris Teeter Pharmacy on Martin Luther King called me and told me that my prescription would be ready later in the afternoon yesterday. I left work at 4:30 yesterday afternoon and drove 20 minutes out of my way to the Harris Teeter Pharmacy on Horton Rd. I went to the pharmacy and waited 5 minutes while the pharmacy technician had a personal conversation with a coworker. After 3 or 4 minutes the pharmacy tech came to the register, asked my date of birth, which I provided to her, asked my name which I provided to her. She put the information into the computer system and said that my prescription was not ready and that the Harris Teeter on Martin Luther King had not finished one step in the process to complete the transfer of my prescription to the Horton Rd. location. It was at this moment she dismissed me and made it very clear that she was not going to pick up the telephone to call the Martin Luther King Parkway store and ask for the process to be completed. I then told her to cancel the prescription. I suppose I could have complained to her manager or to the pharmacist but my thought on the matter is why bother? The technician's behavior is symptomatic of a cultural problem at the Harris Teeter location on Horton Rd. Mind you, my experience with the Harris Teeter pharmacy on Martin Luther King is not much better. Reduced gas prices or not, I will find another pharmacy to do business with.

one of the mangers each time I have been there is on the phone maybe not but always has an ear piece in their ear. Super "professional" right? Some of the cashiers have attitudes. The only good experience was getting my groceries and leaving:)

I had a great experience with the Pharmacist and staff today. They were very patient with me and provided great customer service. I will recommend this Harris Teeter to anyone. Job well done!!! Thank you so much!!!

I don't like when they put out spotted bananas or nasty-tasting oranges however I believe that it is one of the best grocery stores in RTP.

First time ever walking into a Harris Teeter and I was greeted by the most refreshing face and personality I’ve seen in a long while. Kimmie was fantastic… brought me from my line to an open register, helped with what I was missing from my list, and checked me out without dropping that beautiful smile.

We have continued to have poor customer service from this pharmacy. At first we thought the multiple errors like not have standard medicine in stocks, stating orders were filled only to go there to find out different, not reading the prescription details including insurance correctly, constantly changing pharmacy techs who thus did not know how to handle details, .multiple computer issues including a 24 hour shutdown

Good job keeping everything stocked plenty of bread toilet paper and all of the essentials. Good job keeping the car sanitized as well as gas come in it looks like they also offer a special perk for seniors before they open on two days a week

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Today I went in and I asked a department team member which was the correct item on sale. He told me that the one I grabbed was the right one. So when I get up to the register it didn't ring up correctly. I asked if that was not the right one on sale. She grabbed the (I'm assuming) manager on duty what the correct item was and she gave me some serious attitude. She was just saying it's per pound and not explaining it correctly. I didn't understand and so she finally went to go get the item to show me. Was very rude when she brought the item to show me. Was very displeased with the bad customer service she treated me like I was an idiot. She didn't smile or anything. The cashier she was very nice though, friendly and was trying to make me laugh to lighten up the situation. I was just confused because it's not what the department team member had told me and they should have known!

Great customer service! Well stocked, good selections, good sale prices through e-vic. We love this store.

I received a bunch of coupons to use at the new Harris Teeter on Roxboro Road. I have never been a HT fan but I love a bargain as much as anyone else so decided to give it a shot now that they reopened. HT does not impress one bit. Extremely pricey, not a huge selection of anything. I still miss Kroger ALOT and will continue to go to Food Lion and take advantage of their much better coupons and deals and if I need something fancier I will continue going out of my way to Publix, Sprouts or Lowes Foods near Brier Creek. For me, it is worth the drive.

I still miss Kroger. While this store is trying to do a good job, it really is not doing well. Things I miss about Kroger: 1. A wide selection of organic food at a good price. 2. Convenient multiple shopping cart corrals in the parking lot. 3. The bakery! 4. Friendly helpful checkout personnel 5. Good prices on everything. 6. Fast and personal service at the Deli. I worry that the new Teeter that opens in the old Kroger on Roxboro Rd. will be just as disappointing as this one.

I hardly ever write reviews, but the service at the deli is awful. There was only one person working, and when I put in my order for a sandwich, he asked me to step aside and wait while he finished the person's order who was in line behind me. I will not be coming back to the deli here.

I called in advance to simply ask if my medication was in stock before I drove there to fill my prescription. I was told that they were not allowed to tell me because my medication is a controlled substance/were not allowed to tell me. I have been on this medication for over 10 years. I have called almost every time to ask if my prescription was in stock before dropping it off and this was the first time I ever was refused this information. Called Harris teeter in Riverview and they told me no problem so I went there. I just found it kind of bizarre. I wasn't asking any medical information just if they had it in stock. Very strange.

We started using this Harris Teeter pharmacy when Kroger closed. So far we're not impressed. It's a coin toss whether they will have your meds in stock, they are slow, and customer service is lacking. They will see you waiting and essentially ignore you while they do other things behind the counter (even if they are not that busy). Thinking of finding another pharmacy.

I hate this f****** place. They get 2 stars for being clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. But where is the management??! Backed up into the aisles and ALL the customers bagging their own groceries. On a SATURDAY MORNING!!! Seriously?
