Casually came in to purchase beer of legal age. The cashier was disrespectful, saying I look 14, and questioning everything on my ID. Will take my business elsewhere. So rude…

Even after reporting that the fountain drinks were flat, I was still forced to pay for a soda that I did not get. I will be contacting the owner and corporate with this issue.

Horrible place. Guy was so rude and hateful. I needed ice for pain in my surgical site from surgery. Ask if he'd give me 2 plastic bags to put together so I could put ice from the drink machines. I'd pay!! He said no! I just needed some to make it home.

The Manager Eddie is a thief he stole my lottery ticket from me 6 months ago. It is hard for me to prove since I could not get my ticket back but watch him he is a sneaky snake he will pretend to be friend you to gain your trust. He will say you did not win and keep your ticket. Women please be aware of him. I believe my ticket was $10,000. He lied and said I had nothing. I am reporting him for stealing.

I am writing about my great customer experiences at Family Fare located at 4148 Old Chapel Hill Road. I wrote a past review about a staff member who continues to be so friendly and welcoming at check out - always brightening my day after a long day at work when I stop for my 2 liter Sprite fix. Since that time, I have continued to go there for gas and Sprite. However, in the last 4 months, I have had serious back pain from a herniated disk requiring surgery. Several times, the different checkout staff have assisted or asked someone else to assist carrying my routine six 2 liter Sprite bottles to my car. I had not asked for help, but my limit is picking up one bottle at a time and making multiple trips to my car. They saw what I was doing and stepped in to help. Today, I stopped for the first time since having back surgery 2 weeks ago and the checkout staff, who I have seen many times and spoken to, was working. He recalled I had a back issue and asked another staff carry my six 2 liter Sprite bottles to my car. What customer service for someone in need! It has been a very difficult time for me and also a very different experience not being able to do things for myself - like carrying multiple 2 liter bottles all at once, which had never been an issue before. How nice to see how Family Fare treats people with a disability without even being asked.
