I was in this store on May 26th to pick up a few items. There was loud and vulgar music playing with inappropriate language. When I mentioned to the clerk about the music, she just walked away with an attitude. It's totally fine to play music but it should be respectful to all customers.

After waiting in the rain for 15 minutes with my baby and 5 other families, the sales clerk puts up a sign saying they'll open at 1130 after dealing with their deliveries. We were there after 9, a full hour after they were supposed to open.

They are never open when they are suppose to be. The workers are. Cursing around customers. Never can find what I need in there.

Curious as to why this specific Family Dollar on South Roxboro St Suite 130 Durham NC 27713 is closed during store hours. Prime example it is 8:10 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 and no one is available for me to spend my money. Doors are locked w/merchandise, bottled water, clothes, etc to sale outside of the store? Yet the doors are locked. No, I did not call the police for fear of them being robbed due to this is seriously the 3rd time that I’ve come here and the doors were locked during store operational hours, at least per the sign on the door. On one occasion an employee looked out and gave the we’re closed head nod. Perhaps it is due to Covid and/or short staffed. Six customers, 25 mins later and still no employee. Off to Walgreens! Overall when the store is in operation it is a convenience, close to home, easy parking and items in stock.

Although they're continuously restocking the shelves the service was courteous.
