Bailey assisted me and encouraged me so much on use and essentials in the beautiful plants I bought and even helping me with identification of plants in my own yard. This place is a great resource and I shall be returning often.

Was in yesterday to select a plant. The woman in the store did not seem to want to be bothered helping me. Realized when I got home that the punch card she gave me was "under punched". She gave me credit for $40 (2 punches) when I spent over $100. I guess it is moot because at this point I have no intention of returning, between the mediocre service and the error on the punch card.

Beware when you shop for plants at this establishment since the owner/manager will NOT exchange any plant, under any circumstances; whereas, Lowes Garden Center will give you a full refund if you're unhappy with your purchase. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong species and offered to pay more to exchange for the correct species, but was not allowed. They do not put their customers first as most businesses do and their plants are much more expensive than other garden centers. I would advise folks to make sure you can return or exchange if you are not satisfied before making a purchase since they don't tell you that up front.

This is a great local spot, minutes from my home. They have a nice selection of herbs, annuals and perennials as well as evergreens.

They were friendly, helpful and had what I was looking for. I looked at other items and the plants were healthy and looked very vibrant ? Definitely will return.

Great local products. However, staff seemed busy and pointed in the general direction (twice) of product versus walking us to it when we couldn’t find it

The two employees offered no help and seemed bothered by simple questions. We needed some suggestions regarding plants for our new home but all we got was “the plants have tags”. Maybe they are a place for professionals who know what they need, but in any case, costumer service and courtesy were non existent.

A great place! Wonderful selection with very knowledgeable staff. Great to support local businesses rather than the big box stores!!!

I visited Durham Garden Center today and was incredibly put off when I asked the customer service associate a question and was met with a sarcastic, condescending, and rude reply. I simply pivoted on my heels, left the store, and vowed to never return again! A certain level of sarcasm may be appropriate when interacting with one's friends, however it is not appropriate in the workplace when interacting with a customer who is in your place of business to potentially purchase goods.

What a lovely store! It's small but mighty. They have a great selection of beautiful plants and pots, as well as accessories like moss poles. I didn't catch the name of the girl that helped me but she was a delight as well.

The staff here is very helpful. The plants are always different when I come by so if you're looking for something specific, check if it's in season. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, is a great place to visit and browse.

I frequent this garden center and usually have a good experience, but today was the exception. For today's visit I purchased 2 beautiful pots. One which had a price affixed and the other that did not. I was after leaving, having been being preoccupied with my next errand while checking out, was dismayed to find that the cashier named Vanessa, who rang up my purchase didn't bother to find the actual price for the pot with no tag, but instead lazily simple charged me $57.00 twice rather then checking for the actual price of the second pot. Mind you, I'd overhead a brief chat between the cashier and another employee while continuing to look at options, which indicated the price should have been somewhere around $30 for the non tagged pot. To be charged nearly double that with no disclosure or mention is unacceptable and I will be returning the pots despite how much I love them as such practices are not consistent with how I wish to be treated when patronizing a business.
