This pharmacy is THE. WORST. There is a young woman who is just SO rude every time I encounter her. She shouted my first and last name and DOB across the pharmacy, which is illegal. When I asked her not to do that again, she gave me a huge attitude and told me I need to wait 30 minutes for my prescription to be ready (when a minute ago, it was in stock and ready to go, just some eye drops). So I asked to see the pharmacy manager Alex. The young lady saw me looking at her and, no joke, said, "You keep looking at me, why don't you come back here if you have something to say?!" Mind you, I had a newborn and toddler with me. We exchanged words all while Alex the "manager" looked on, not intervening! I called CVS Customer Service to make a report but I doubt anything will happen. I am transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens across the street. This CVS is CONSTANTLY out of stock of my meds anyway. Please, don't go if you value customer service, reliability, or general human decency at all!

My prescriptions are always messed up. Then the pharmacy NEVER answers the phone. I'll be on hold for hours just waiting. Sadly whenever I have a question, I have to drive in. Then I wait in a long line and get subpar service when it's my turn. I do this pretty much every 90 days as they can never get my prescription right. I really need to go elsewhere.

I don’t usually post negative reviews because I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but PLEASE do not go here. They are severely understaffed and there have been multiple instances where they have been unable to fill my medications on time — jeopardizing my health. I started going here because of the convenience of the drive-thru, but it is not worth it. I never had this issue with previous pharmacies and I will be switching as soon as I can.

The pharmacy techs are always working very hard, are knowledgeable, and are kind in their interactions. The pharmacist is pretty rude and argumentative. If you don't need to deal with the pharmacist at all, this is a great pharmacy. If you have any reason to interact with the pharmacist directly, go elsewhere.

This is the worst CVS customer service I have ever dealt with. The Pharmacist tall women with the outfits that all match is very rude unprofessional. She was working July 25th. She was on a personal call you could hear her and she opens up 10 minutes late after lunch as you could here her personal call on speaker You stand in line and wait for you medicine and she says move to the side and no one helps you as she helps everyone else. She has a terrible attitude. I would go to any other pharmacy but this one.

3 times on 3 different dates, I have called the pharmacy and have to listen to the music while waiting up to an hour before finally hanging up.Yesterday my post surgery pain Rx was sent to Morrisville location by mistake. We called and they said that my insurance DID cover the cost. The Dr. Then had the prescription sent to this Durham location near where I live.I was told that the insurance was not going to cover it. I suffered through the night (Tylenol only slightly dulled the pain = no sleep). The next morning, ,again this pharmacy never answered the phone, and I tried twice.I called the other pharmacy in Morrisville. They said my pain Rx WAS covered. So I went there to finally get some customer service. I’ll always go somewhere else to get my prescription s (as well as everyone I can tell). This Pharmacy doesn’t deserve the “1” that I’m having to give it. EPIC FAILURE Wake Forest Road location!

Store is great, pharmacy department isn’t. Employees are rude. Prescriptions are never available in a timely manner.

The Absolute Worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever encountered in all of North Carolina, unless you are historically local to that area then their bias may not be against you. Go anywhere else, to any other CVS location or anywhere else, except the Walgreens diagonally across because its quite the same over there also. It may be a larger issue within Durham, so you may just want to go to a Raleigh location instead.

I called about a prescription and waited on hold for 30 mins, no one ever picked up. Places are busy, I get that, I expect that, but to just straight up ignore the phone is unacceptable. It’s sad these are the people we’re trusting with our medications.

Avoid the pharmacy if at all possible. They will not answer the phone. If you let it ring, they will eventually pick up and hang up on you. They will not tell you if your meds are back ordered. If you go in person, they will say they will handle an issue and then just ignore it.

I am appalled at the customer service or should I say lack of service at this establishment’s pharmacy . I have been on hold for a total of 36 mins and counting and have yet to reach someone to answer the phone. This is insane !. The previous reviews are true and I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

I'm going to stop having my prescriptions at this location or just transfer to Walgreens. The bald headed guy and the woman with red braids working today just seem so unmotivated and didn't care about anything. Twice now my son's medicine is out of stock and they don't tell you unless you have an online account. The guy told ME to call the T. W. Alexander location to have the prescription filled (now we know customers can't do that). But I called them and told them the situation and it's confirmed, customers can't do that. But the lady at the T. W. Location was nice and told me she'll have to call the Wake Forest Hwy to do everything.
