My CVS is so convenient and easy to access. I'm in and out within minutes. And some of their sales are pretty good.
Thanks for being here for me!?

Why don’t the clerks who check you out not understand your coupons or try to make you get another CVS card that hasn’t expired?

Nothing could have been improved. The associate was amazing and went above and beyond to help me with an extrabucks purchase and a passport photo. This is the best experience that I've ever had in CVS.

I just switched to this CVS and am so glad! My prescription was sent in around 9:30am today and was ready at 12:15pm. I went inside to be greeted by friendly staff that were attentive. I’m glad I didn’t get detoured from the other reviews. Also, it’s not understaffed as mentioned by others.

Had to wait twice and their excuse is they are a day and a half behind. Go elsewhere!!!

There is no customer respect here. CVS web site suggests just to walk in for vaccine, the store itself is filled with posters walking for vaccine no appointment required, yet when you actually come in they tell you, ah... we only do walk-ins in the mornings and after lunch it is appointmet only.

I've never written a negative google review, but I've been driven to a state of Karenhood by the abysmal customer service at this pharmacy location over the past year or two.Today I spent 41 minutes on hold before the pharmacist answered my call. It was 9:30am on a Tuesday, so not exactly the high noon or 5pm witching hours. The prescription my doctor called in over a week ago was listed as "delayed," with a note to call the pharmacy if they hadn't filled the medication within two business days. Two business days went by. Weeks passed. Years. Decades. Millennia. (Just kidding, but it was over a week with no word from the pharmacy). So finally I called, and after about 34 minutes on hold, I just resigned myself to spending an eternity listening to the same 8-count of hold music, and I got in my car and drove there. Someone finally picked up my call just as I was pulling up. There was no one in the drive-thru lane. The parking lot was sparse. The conversation went thusly:Me: Hi! I wanted to check in on the status of a medication that's been delayed.Pharmacist: It looks like you want Prescription A. We already filled that.Me: No, I'm talking about Prescription B, which is listed as delayed in my account.Pharmacist: Oh, it looks like it's too early for you to refill this medication.Me: No, it's a brand new prescription. I had a dose change.Pharmacist: Oh I see. You're on the 50 mg.Me: No, 25. I need the 25s. They are listed as delayed. My doctor called them in a week ago.Pharmacist: Oh, it looks like it was out of stock. Let me see if we ordered it.*Puts me on hold again*Anyway, they did order the medication, but they never filled it. They said it would take an hour and a half to fill, so now I have to go back another time.EDIT TO ADD: They filled it and then immediately "sent it back" and claimed I was late to pick it up since didn't pick it up a week earlier (you know, when it was delayed and out of stock). They must be actively trying to mess things up this badly.I will give these guys the benefit of the doubt that they are understaffed and busy. But this is such a consistent problem that I feel like a staffing issue should've been addressed by now.Not too long ago, they said they'd filled a 90-day supply of my medication, but they only gave me 30 days worth. When I got home and realized the mistake, I called back. They told me their records said I had picked up 90, and there was nothing they could do about it. I ended up having to pay $80 out of pocket for the additional medications.A little before that, I went to pick up an Rx about 25 minutes before they closed for lunch. There was a long line of customers in the store being ignored. The woman behind me was upset, saying she had driven all the way in after waiting so long on hold (...) and she really needed her prescription, and she was worried they'd shut down for lunch before servicing the line of customers. I let her go in front of me just in case. Thankfully, they did get to her. Less thankfully, they closed right after that, leaving me and the three or four people in line behind me without our meds, despite the fact that we'd been there waiting for over 20 minutes. They announced their lunch closure by rudely pulling the gate shut in front of our faces without a word. There are some super nice people who work here, and it's convenient to my house, but I'm gonna have to switch to literally anywhere else.

Like many businesses CVS is a little short handed but I can get in and get out nonetheless. I like the MLK CVS!

We're new in Durham, looking for a pharmacy. My husband's prescription was ordered two weeks ago. They didn't have it in stock, and no one contacted him. He called today, was on hold 30 minutes and gave up. He called another CVS in another town and learned that CVS doesn't stock that drug. This is not going to be our pharmacy.

My wife and I got our fifth COVID shots at this CVS location, not far from 15-501 and the shopping centers with The Fresh Market, Target and Discount Tire (South Square), and Li Ming's (Westgate). This CVS is in a freestanding building in the same shopping center as Harris Teeter (The Commons). We chose this CVS because we each have already gotten at least one COVID vaccine at a CVS and therefore, our information was already in their system. It made signing up for an appointment fast and easy. We also chose this location because it had the vaccine we wanted - the one that targets the latest Omicron XBB.1.5 "Kraken" variant - in stock. Pfizer Comirnaty 2023-24. Like our previous experiences getting COVID vaccines at CVS and elsewhere, the process was quick, simple, and free. Before our appointment, CVS sent helpful emails and texts with clear instructions and information on how to check in, what to expect, etc. After our appointment, we received emails with our vaccine administration records and info. My wife got her annual flu shot at the same appointment. Convenient. This is CVS store # 4391.

The pharmacy staff and managers at this location are horrible. I called multiple times over four days and would spend 45-70 minutes on hold to eventually be disconnected . I eventually spoke to someone at the front of the store who apologized and said she got multiple calls a day complaining about the pharmacy not answering phone and she would walk to the back and they would be talking and would get a attitude when she said she had multiple people calling up front who couldn't get in touch with them. I even spoke with pharmacy manager about being disconnected after calling thirty minutes before lunch only to be disconnected when the pharmacy closed for lunch and she said to come in if I had questions. Don't even try to call cooperate number, because you talk to someone in a foreign country at a call center with roosters crowing in the background.

The pharmacy doesn't answer the phone, but instead, puts you on an interminable wait. First time was 15 minutes before I hung up and tried a second time. Now I am up to 5 minutes and counting--still waiting. On top of that, they cannot supply something as simple as syringes in one week's time. They then suggest trying a different branch. You have to prompt them to inquire for you and let you know which branch to go to. When you go to that branch, they weren't informed by the first branch that you are coming--and they don't have the product either. What a screwball operation--whoever are running CVS must be the cheapest bastards on the planet to understaff and understock so severely.

On July 10, 2023 I had a great experience at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 830 MLK Jr. PWY in Durham, NC. The Sale Associate greeted me promptly and let me know my prescription was being filled and would be ready in about 10-15 minutes and I would be called when it was ready. I was called. It was ready in less than 10 minutes, and although I had picked out other times to purchase, it did not seem to bother her to ring those up as well. This CVS has been my Pharmacy for about 6 years.
