Deplorable customer service: I purchased a T shirt using a promotional coupon for 30% off. When I picked up the item I asked to exchange it finding it one size too small. The customer service representative said no problem and then spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to do this. Finally calling the owner to ask. The owner then said it would not be treated as an even exchange but I would have to pay full price for correct size shirt. When I asked her to honor the coupon she said she would not. And was going to have my card refunded and not sell us the shirt. This is not a business owner that respect their customers. After wasting our time and being told by her staff that it could be done. Even her employee seemed embarrassed. Will not be giving them business in the future.

This store is a must!! You must stop in and take a look around. There is something for everyone. I love to come here to gather gifts for friends who are visiting. I also love to come in here to get a thing out two for myself.

Was on Ninth Street and met the owner who was definitely a great entrepreneur...They do some amazing embroidery and of course they are definitely celebrating the Bull City through cups, t-shirts, hats, keychains and various other items....I love my city and so do this store as well...I will definitely be giving them some great support...

Shop local, great family-owned store with unique items from the local Durham and North Carolina community. Hometown Apparel has everything Durham from a North Carolina-shaped bottle opener, comfy soft sweatshirts, hats, coasters, T-shirts, and different gift items. Plenty of parking across the street. Clean and crisp store with high ceilings. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Perfect spot to pick up unique Durham shirts for yourself or gifts for visitors! Custom screen printing also available on site. I've lived in Durham for over 11 years and am so happy to know that this local spot has all things Bull City!! I also love my new shirts!

Love Hometown Apparel! I have been shopping there since it was Cotton Creek! I have a ton of shirts, hats, sweatshirts, stickers, etc that proudly show my love for my city!! And the quality is great- they have lasted really well over the years. Every time I go in the shop, they are super friendly also! Definitely recommend shopping here!! Ordered t-shirts for all the kids in the family coming to the beach for our annual beach trip. Sizes 12 months to 15 years. Got a great price, ordered a little late but they came before the trip and all were perfect! Will definitely buy for next year and the adults want to be included! Thank you!

I've ordered from this site before and my purchase was good so I decided to purchase another sweatshirt of army fatigue with bright blue writing. The site shows you an image before completing your purchase and I liked it but when I received the sweatshirt the letters written were in black. Customer service said if I didn't like it I can return it at my cost per their policy and order another one of a different color. I've read other reviews stating when it happened to them they recieved another at no charge. Im so disappointed as my daughter just started college and my plans were to keep using this site but i was treated so poorly.
