I highly recommend that you take a picture of the frame of glasses you wish to purchase as proof for records. I spent $260 while ordering my glasses to come in a frame that were gold, verified to be rose gold by their system. However when I picked them up they were navy blue. Not only was this a surprise but the older woman working had a rather dismissive attitude towards me regarding the matter. Although she verified in Costco’s system, inventory displays them as being sold in rose gold, her response to me was that I likely mistakenly saw them as rose gold due to their bright lighting since they were
partially rose gold at the bottom and that they have always come in navy blue in its
entirety. The physical pair I initially saw were no longer on display as when I returned they were no longer offered to support my claim however the systematic listing should have been enough. As a science teacher, it is incomprehensible that lighting would suddenly change a lighter shade to dark when I viewed them from the same location both times; primarily at the mirror at their counter. Another employee whose daughter happened to order the exact same pair, verified his daughter had similar sentiments to me regarding the inconsistency of her order and he understood. When I initially ordered them, I was on FaceTime with my mom who also verified the inconsistency. I returned to exchange them and the employee had a different attitude regarding the matter whilst around other employees than our semi private conversation. Bill, outstandingly immediately understood my concern and helped me to process an exchange to rectify the matter. I do hate I was forced to use my once in a lifetime exchange allowance considering it was a lack of consistency of Costco Optical, not at all a personal error on my behalf. Again, take a picture to ensure you’re not made to feel crazy due to a simple error beyond your control. I have ordered glasses from Costco since middle school and I never have experienced this before.

The service desk is a nightmare. Completely under staffed. You take a ticket and just have to wait even for a simple pick up.

Dr. Mauro, your kindness and professionalism are greatly appreciated. She made extraordinary efforts to work around my schedule, even though I work roughly 65 hours each week. If you need an eye doctor who is both concerned and diligent, I wholeheartedly recommend her. The environment was pristine and clean, and the customer service was genuine from both the receptionist and Dr. In terms of prices, they are the lowest I have seen in a very long time, and it is so very kind of her to be able to provide the 2 year expiration. Last year, I spent twice as much elsewhere on just my contact prescription that lasted only one year. I definitely have found my new eye doctor, thank you for this pleasant experience.

Seems like the staff at this Costco could use some sensitivity training. Not the friendliest store I've ever shopped in. Not that they're particularly rude but they have a very "no nonsense" attitude when dealing with customers. I've experienced it myself and observed it in interactions with others as well.

Lady at the front door doesn't allow me to use the Costco Shop Card (aka the gift card) to get in, saying "Ya must be a member!". Wow, then what's the point for Costco to sell gift cards even? So members can buy gift cards for themselves? I don't understand and won't go here again. This is either a new policy or a special thing for Durham Costco.

Costco usually has good quality stuff. I spend at least $5,000 a year there. But was disappointed during ny last visit. The Visalia Sweet onions were very bitter and the seedless watermelons were not seedless or ripe or sweet. I think quality control is slipping. Try harder guys!!

This Costco is fantastic I read the one star reviews sounds like a bunch of KARANS whining about every little thing, the parking lot is full waaa they didn't have this or that waaaa the costomer service waaaa whiny brats

We've been avid Costco members for many years, and have always appreciated the service and selection. However, this review is specifically about the bakery. Don't waste your time ordering from the bakery in advance. They are unreliable. I ordered apple pies for a memorial service which were not there when I came to pick up. There was no record of my order. This is not the first time we've experienced problems with pre-ordering food from this Costco. They're good at other things, not this.

I finally signed up for Costco. A pretty great wholesale store in my option, as even the clothing is something to go there for. I love the model of having you try different foods that they are promoting as I have discovered several cool snacks because of this. The employees at this location were pretty good for the most part.

This Costco has grown on me over the years, so I'm going to be slightly biased :) I remember when I first started to coming to this Costco, I noticed the employees were rude and the store to be a bit messy. But I have not seen any rude employees lately, and I sometimes found the employees to be super friendly - Especially one time when I was trying to return an item, and this employee named Gladys was super duper friendly and helpful. It simply depends on the person I guess?I have no issues with finding things I need at this location. For certain items such as luggage set, I find it helpful that this location has them on the aisle as a display for people to play with them!I'm a big fan of Costco, and I will be a long time customer here.
