Highly agree with many other reviewers. Prices are great, and people seem nice and the work done is acceptable. But the service is generally bad. Management needs to do a better job since their system is bad and their workers are set up to disappoint. Sometimes things work out and it only takes a couple of hours (not quick but within reason for an appointment), but my last appointment for a rotation I waited 2 hours and they never touched the vehicle.

Knowledgable and friendly staff. Mike helped me choose the right tires for my car, and I deeply appreciate the help.

I like that I can buy the tires online, and schedule the appointment to have them installed. However, when I get there for my appointment I still have to wait in line while the one person running the desk helps anyone that arrived before me, regardless of whether or not they have an appointment. It can be someone that walked in 2 min before my appointment time and they have no idea what they need and while the employee goes over all the options with them I'm just standing there waiting to check-in for my appointment.
Unfortunately this happens when you schedule appointments for rotations too. It's basically every time I go there, and it can sometimes be a 5 min process waiting to check-in, and other times it can take 45 min (just to check-in, when you have a scheduled appointment!!).
Also, and this is big deal, they don't do tire alignments. If you're getting new tires installed, or rotated, you can have them balanced, but not aligned. If you need to get your tires aligned you have to go somewhere else, when normally you'd do that during an installation or rotation, so now one trip becomes two separate ones.
Honestly, if their prices weren't good and there wasn't the convenience of shopping at Costco while I get tires installed or rotated, I would give them 1 star.

I’ve had good experiences here and I’ve had bad experiences here. But when they’re bad, they are BAD. They should just be extremely happy that they operate under the Costco brand and with Costco prices, because the service here is abismal.
Took my car in this morning for a plug repair on a very slow leak in ONE tire. Had an appointment at 10:45 AM. I get there and within 30 mins they tell me that I need to get them the wheel lock. Nowhere in the sign up, online, confirmation text or email, was there any request to bring your wheel lock key. Most tire shops these days have a master set, because a wheel lock isn’t like a house lock, there aren’t an infinite number of ways they can be made, only a few. So I leave for 15 mins to grab my key and come back. All of a sudden, I have to be put down as a “walk in”. Fine. I wait for as long as I can and am told they’ll get it done by the end of the day. I wait all day and even call in at 5:30 to confirm they can still get it done by the end of the day. They say yes. 8 PM rolls around, I call yet another Uber and get down to Costco, arrive at 8:25 PM, and lo and behold, my vehicle hasn’t been touched. Literally almost the entire day. I walk in trying my best to keep my calm, considering expectations had not been set and little to no consideration had been given to the inconvenience and cost to me. They literally start working on the tire then and there with no explanation, and with no acknowledgement that it hadn’t been done. They made it sound like they’d be right back, they were just going to grab the keys, as if it were done. Unbelievable. I then waited over 30 mins after they closed to get my car, hoping they weren’t banging my car around trying to do this too quickly.
I came to Costco because it was $10 and I figured it would be more convenient than the dealership, who might be free, but a hassle. I left Costco $60 deep into a simple tire plug with Uber rides, meals, and a full day thrown into caos because they couldn’t communicate or handle a simple problem. I used to work at a dealership, did it for 3 years. Our techs did full wheel swaps, aka tires on and off on 4 freaking tires, in 30 mins, by themselves, while actually doing other service tech things. These guys couldn’t handle a plug in one tire when all they literally do is tires. They don’t even install the batteries they sell. Just tires. I would HIGHLY recommend looking at another Costco or tire shop all together.

Having an appointment makes no difference. You still have to stand in line waiting for 1 GUY to answer the phone, help the 5 people in front of you including people who want a quote on every possible tire. After all that, it takes them an hour to even get started on it WHEN YOU HAD AN APPOINTMENT.

Excellent tire selection at competitive prices, especially when discounted. Top notch service, free rotations, etc. Don't hesitate!

Not recommended. Unprofessional, unethical and the worst Costco tire shop. They will make your situation worse, go to Discount Tire instead.Story if you have time to read:I was traveling from out of state and i found out there is a slow leak on one of my tires. We decided to go to Costco (was bad idea) to fix the tire. First the workers were unethical and un polite. Also i can add unprofessional . They told me for 2 tiny holes on my tires I need to change the whole freaking tire and they don’t have it in stock and also they were not able to install car’s spare tire back, and add to it they said now it is my problem to take my car out to other shop. So i ask for the manager and Mark came and managed to put back my own tire back up with holes and screws on it (he was a good person). We went to Discount Tire Shop (3 miles from Costco) and i told them the story , they checked the tire and fix it in 20 min and they said no need to change the tire. And guess what they charged me $0 .Costco charged me $12 for nothing.

I have to say that warranty repairs to the tires happened in a hurry. Best experience that I have had with a tire warranty.

Very poor service. They refuse to tell you how long it will take and had me wait for 2 hours. They never even looked at the tire and I did not get a refund. The low prices are not worth it!

Great experience! Luis was very patient and thorough explaining on a busy day. Quick in and out getting 4 tires — took around 2 hours. Way cheaper than the dealer. I’ll definitely shop for tires here again

Don't do it unless you have alot of patience. Anticipate at least an additional hour extra when they tell you when it will be ready. You can get the same deals elsewhere.

Great place to buy tires, especially during on-sale season. Moreover, the road hazard warranty is also pretty handy. It can ensure the usage of your tires during the warranty.
