I went to Cornwallis Rd Animal Hospital because my pet was having issues. It was easy to get an appointment. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They also took the time to answer my questions and explain the care needed to address my dog’s issues. I highly recommend them.

Cornwallis is a true gem for pet owners. The entire team goes above and beyond to make every visit a positive experience. They are incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to listen to concerns and explain treatment options in a way that's easy to understand.
They're also incredibly flexible. We recently had to move to NYC, and they have been super patient with us as we have moved to a new vet sadly. I can't recommend Cornwallis enough - they truly care about your pets and will go above and beyond to make every party happy and healthy.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital, particularly Dr. Jeffer. They took such great care of my dog, Charlie, when we lived in Durham. The staff were always so kind over the phone and in person, I always was able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame, and their prices were reasonable as well. They also knew my dog well as many of them had worked at the daycare next door, so Charlie was immediately at ease seeing old friends. I also had the luxury of them getting stool samples or giving vaccines while he was next door at daycare if I needed! What really stands out to me is Dr. Jeffer, and how shortly after we moved away to Chicago I contacted him because Charlie wasn't feeling well and no vet would see him because we hadn't been able to establish care yet. Dr. Jeffer was kind enough to give us some quick advice on things at home we could do, and the warning signs of when we should take Charlie to an emergency vet. We miss Dr. Jeffer and his staff so much!

Dr. Jeffer and the Cornwallis Animal Hospital team are fantastic. They took excellent care of our cats and dogs for both well and sick visits and provided beneficial information to make sure our pets are as healthy as possible.

Very Friendly staff. This is the first vet office I have every been too where the staff sat down on the floor to meet my dog rather that put her up on a cold metal table.

Michaela & Dr. Jeffers made us feel like we were their only patients. They spent SO MUCH time with us answering all of our questions as new parents to our new puppy. We had very recently put down one of our other dogs, so we couldn’t think clearly and emotions were still raw. They were sensitive, caring and so knowledgeable especially about the Shar Pei breed. We left feeling confident we were in capable hands and that our new little guy would be well cared for by the team at CRAH. We can’t recommend them enough.

Dr Jeffers and Staff are a wonderful group. My GSD was treated by them but we had to let her go a couple months ago. Miss my Fur-Baby but thanks to all that was done to help her ??
