My husband and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Mr. Morgan is a very knowledgeable and kind auto mechanic. His floor manager, Steve, is just the same. He has helped save us thousands of dollars in car related issues. He knows many workarounds, solutions, and other helpful tips. Great customer service! Would highly recommend.

As a former employee this company condones immoral acts and cheats customers out of quality repairs and money. When I addressed my concern and why I was leaving the company I was begged not to leave. Now being threatened by the company’s owner because I tell any customer who asked the truth about the theft he knows he is committing.

My Mazda has a tire pressure sensor that likes to cry wolf. It will ping and stay on for days despite everything being fine. Colonial Tire has been very nice when I have driven in to ask if maybe I am losing my mind and the pressure is wrong despite my having measured it.
They replaced my tires two yrs ago, no problem.
Today they quickly removed a 3 inch nail, patched the tire, and had me back on the road before I'd settled into the waiting area.

Colonial Tire & Automotive is the best! I am not a native of the area and was having a hard time finding someone to fix my truck. My friend recommended Colonial Tire & Automotive and Tyler was so helpful and nice(cute too). They fixed my truck and at a price that I could afford. He was definitely accommodating with pickup and that sent me over the top. I live in Raleigh and will come back to Durham anytime to have any work done. Thank you CT&A

I got unexpected news that my front tire had a very unsafe bulge in it. My dad recommended Colonial Tire and I worked with Tyler and his customer service was amazing! Got me in the very next morning with two new tires and got me in and out in under an hour. I can’t recommend this shop enough!! I live in Raleigh and will be happy to drive to Durham and use this shop as my new go to place to service my car for all needs!

I have gone to Colonial Tire a few times for various needs (state inspections, new tires, etc) for both my husband and I’s cars. I am able to get in same day or close to it and charges/work are always as explained. I have had difficult times in the past with mechanics and attempted to give me the run around but this is NEVER the case here. I am not upsold on ridiculous work or parts. I feel so comfortable coming here that I have opted in when my husband’s car needed looked at. I could not rave enough about this place!

It’s 2024; few things are affordable, and hardly ANYTHING is free anymore. I called the folks at colonial tire earlier today when I noticed a screw logged in my front tire. They got me within an hour or so, and had me out in even less time than that. And they didn’t charge me for the patch - can’t thank them enough, they are a great shop!

I took my Jeep in to have my tires put on that I purchased from another place I turn my Jeep in I've been sitting there all day they got it in the shop last minute I had spiked lug nuts on it they didn't want to change it at first the mechanics didn't anyway I sit there for a little while waiting on at the end of the day when I got it back my rims will heat up scratched attack them a month to get back with me to get my rims fixed I then took it back and they had to take it somewhere else to have my rims fixed when I got my Jeep back my Jeep rims for damn it still has Nick's in it and then they wanted to know any responsibility for any damages on my Jeep there is no way that they could have done that I beg to differ so it looks like I'm going to have to take legal action against them saying how they are not taking responsibility for the damages done to my wheels

I've known Steve, Roy, and Lawrence for years. Not sure why but just never left a review on how great these mechanics are. I'm not a car guy, like I know a little, but not a lot. They always take the time to explain what's happening with my car and what they are gunna do to fix it. They start with the most likely cause and do their best to keep the budget down. I've got mechanics in my family that have told me what it costs to fix "XYZ" with my car and Colonial always came up with a very similar price. I drove a car from 2003 with 250k miles on and these guys helped me with it everytime I needed it. I wish them all the best over there at Colonial Tire.

bought four tires. got home and noticed there was silver and black soot for a better description on all four wheels. called and was told it was lubricant. the technician did not have the common sense or decency or motivation to clean the wheels. I have own many cars over my many years and have bought tires from many different companies in many towns and cities in North Carolina. This is the first time I have ever seen this.
