Like most of the reviews. These predators are ridiculous. When people say rude on the phone, waiting to tow and other things it's so true. Should be illegal! But trust what goes around comes around. Towing a teenagers car because tags just expired.. crazy!

Laws for people NOT profit! Every minute you can take from them is another minute they can’t hurt someone else. Every time they are “just doing their job” someone gets closer to an edge they can’t come back from. It’s one thing to have a bad experience with a generally helpful institution such as towing, but businesses who use laws to justify hurtful actions in the name of profit should be SHUT DOWN. I spent every moment I could withholding a “drop fee”(which means the front wheels were in the air and I was at the car). Laws for people not profit.

I called them to come tow a car out of my PAID parking spot and they did not come even though he said he’d send a driver. Y’all don’t like money ? Bad business and liars. Good for nothing.

They towed my husband's car overnight because the apartment parking lot was full it's stupid taking people's cars who live here and not taking the cars and vans who don't even live

My these are a bunch of scamers. They towed my car from infrom of my house when my handy cap tag is clearly shown. Then the towing sign said $250 but they charged $265 . I called to pick it up and they said they are on location. I find they are not there. I call the number they said 5 minutes. After 15 I call again they say they don't have my car when I am looking at it in their yard. They were super rude they hung up on me. Then they would not answer the phone. Finally ond hour later they arrive and are so rude.

What kind of uneducated incompetent person places a giant sticker right in the driver's window so you can't see out of the mirror? This giant stupid sticker was stuck on my car for a flat tire while I was traveling for a week. Apartment community should be notifying owners instead of letting these clowns tow cars for such nonsense. Luckily I came back before it got towed.

Car got towed for being parked in the “visitor” section in my apartment complex as a resident. I’ve been living there for 5 years and have never been told I couldn’t park there until they got a contract with “chandler’s”. Also a bunch of people continues to park there day in and day out and their cars have yet to be towed away.

I had some company over for a couple days . I Notified my Complex that I had guest so they put my guest on the DO NOT TOW LIST . My complex did not tell me I had 30 DAYS .
So she was 1 day out of our 30 Days .
They sat in my complex for about 20 minutes.
I got home from work and I saw the tow company. I just knew something was up.
So I went to go to her car and stand by her car and they pulled off .
I went in my house for NO MORE THAN 5 mins and they came back and took it .
I called and ask them to at least cut the price down Considering it was just a day past .
And they had an Attitude and said cash or debit to credit and hung up

I will never use this Predatory Chandler Towing Company or their auto/tire business. It’s disappointing to know a business based in Durham is so disreputable. I’ve seen several bad reviews and complaints to BBB about similar activities and it gives my hometown a bad name.
My car was towed tonight before 8:30pm while visiting a resident at Woodlake Apartments. Apparently, Woodlake and Chandler Towing have a contract for them to cruise the parking lot and tow any car in the complex if it doesn’t have a parking sticker. And they did this “after hours.”
To add insult to injury, Chandler is charging $180.00 for the tow, $35.00 when it hit the storage lot at 9pm and another $35.00 billed at midnight. Minimum, $250.00 to get my car back tomorrow. Or $50.00 for “after hours” pickup if I opted to get my car tonight. Unbelievable!
What a lousy business ethic on the part of both businesses. Hope this review stops people from dealings with either organization. I plan to file complaints against both companies with the Durham PD, mayor, BBB and NC Attorney General for predatory towing and lack of consumer protection. Disgusted!
