I've been a customer for years and have always been happy. Last week they stepped up another notch in my ratings though! I took my Commencal V4 downhill bike in for terrible shifting issues. Forrest helped me and took a look while I waited, all to see if he could get me going again without leaving it. Unfortunately, I wasn't a quick fix, which I suspected anyway. After a day of waiting, great communication from Forrest and a very reasonable repair bill, the bike is amazing! New cable, complete set up she shifts like butter!! I couldn't be happier! Great honest and friendly service as always!

Recently moved to North Carolina from Madison, so I decided to take a look at Bicycle Chain as my first shop last week. Came in a bit down bad to put it simply, and the mechanic, Dylan I believe, helped me kindly - with both understanding & good knowledge. So I got to learn a bit while I was there, which is the best takeaway I believe. My new shop, thanks fellas!

Had a great experiencing buying bikes from the Bicycle Chain in Durham - everyone I spoke with over several months was patient and helpful.
Most recently, I finally took the plunge after a long chat with Alden - what a phenomenal sales person! He was informative, patient, and not one bit pushy - it definitely helped me step out of my analysis paralysis and make a decision. After, Dylan was super helpful in showing me how to use my new trunk mounted bike rack and offering some tips for using it on different vehicles.
Thanks to everyone for a great experience! I will definitely be back :-)

Stopped by to look at bikes for my wife. Aldon, our salesperson, was PHENOMENAL. He knew all the products and what they had ins rock as well as pricing. He made good points, offered great advice, and was not pushy at all. I would definitely do business with this location in the future! Can’t recommend Aldon enough, great sales representative!

Corbin (sp?) was awesome!! We came in multiple times to try bikes (finally bought today) and every time Corbin was so accommodating and his enthusiasm for biking was contagious. We’re so excited about our purchase and had a great experience with knowledgeable staff who didn’t pressure us and took their time to help explain our options and let us try lots of different bikes so we could feel confident in our final selection. 10/10 experience!

On Friday, The lovely Sarah suggested that I bring my build-it-yourselfsixthreezero 7-speed bike in because the seat WOULD NOT stay in place. On Sunday afternoon, I brought my bike in and was literally back outside and riding my bike around the store parking lot no more than 60 seconds later. Corbin, you are the best!! Thanks, y’all!!!

Highly recommended!!! My wife had an issue with her seat. We took it in at 4:00 on a Sunday, not the most optimal time, as they would be closing in less than an hour. However, Corbin saved the day! Incredible customer service! He fixed her issue in less than 10 minutes and didn't charge us for the fix. I will certainly be purchasing my next bike from this phenomenal store. Thank you, again, Corbin! Excellent "mid-western" customer service/ experience.

I wanted to say what a wonderful experience I had here. I came in because I needed air for a tire. This very sweet gentleman assisted me and refused to give up when he had difficulty getting the pump to connect to the valve. I will be coming back for service in the future.
