Beanstalk is simply the best! Their standards for secondhand clothing and items for kids are super high; most of the items we get there look brand new. I love how neatly the entire store is organized. Staff here are super nice and helpful!
The mother-daughter duo behind this new shop brings 30 years of consignment sale experience to the business. Beth Pendola was the co-owner of the long-running and massive Kids EveryWear children's consignment sale. Daughter Emma, 20, helped her mom with the sale for more than a decade. Beth Pendola said the two decided to open the store because they wanted to make it easier for moms to consign their children's gently used clothes and toys. Consignment sales are fun, she said, but can be labor intensive for moms. And, at national consignment store chains, consignors can sometimes end up earning very little. "We want to make it super simple for moms," she said. "It takes less than five minutes to drop your things off here. "
