We came from NY just to stay at The Arrowhead Inn. The room and grounds are beautiful! It was so peaceful. And the breakfast served right outside the cottage was out of this world. I can’t wait to go back.

We’ve really enjoyed our stay here! We found it to be really nicely situated, romantic and top notch clean:) It was the perfect stop on our trip. We loved the breakfast too, the staff is absolutely lovely ☺️

An absolutely first class experience. Ron and Stephanie truly know how to treat their guests and you can tell that they love what they do. The rooms are clean, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The breakfasts were amazing. I would highly recommend Arrowhead to anyone looking to stay in the Durham area. You will not be disappointed!

This was everything we desired and expected. While we were not at the Inn during the day, the room was very spacious and well equipped and the breakfasts were excellent. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Amazing and beautiful inn. We stay at a lot of bed and breakfasts and this one is easily our favorite so far! Peaceful gardens made it feel like a slice of heaven. We stayed in the carolina log cabin and it was sooooo lovely. I did not want to leave. Breakfast each morning was delish and they deliver it to ur cabin which is wonderful. We cannot wait to come back maybe when it's cooler to take advantage of the fireplace! Ron was a super host and I loved meeting his puppy Remi. Perfect location to everything as well! 100% recommend

Arrowhead Inn is a true gem. This very historic B&B has been meticulously restored and maintained. The garden is beautiful, with mature magnolia trees and fragrant jasmine. This would be a great place to get married! The owners have thought of every detail to make you feel at home. We loved the breakfast, served with fresh fruit and a slice of home made cake. Owner Ron is the perfect host, making sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend!!

Arrowhead inn is a beautiful place to spend a weekend! My fiancé booked the log cabin and actually proposed on the property! The owner, Ron, coordinated with my fiancé to make sure the proposal was perfect, and everything went smoothly! The service was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, and the cabin was very clean! I would highly recommend this place for a romantic get away!

Searched for a B&B to split a 7 hour trip and chose Arrowhead Inn. What a magnificent find! It’s absolutely wonderful…from the sleeping accommodations, common areas, food, snacks…it’s obvious the love these Innkeepers have for their property. You can lose yourself in the grounds gardens and sitting areas to include 200+ year old magnolias!
Thank you Ron and Stephanie for a wonderful day and night…

This is a hidden jewel. Do not hesitate to book here. It is a wonderful step back in time. Actually all the way to 1775 as the house itself is older than the United States. The gardens are beautiful and we found ourselves constantly taking pictures of rabbit, squirrels, and owls and birds as the lush area made us feel like we were in some remote resort. Ron and his staff do a wonderful job of making you feel at home and cooking wonderful gourmet breakfasts. The biggest magnolia trees in the world as far as I know must be here. It is a magical place. I sprung for the romance package which involved rose petals flowers, and bath bombs. It was a big hit with the Mrs..
We stayed in the cottage, which was extremely quiet and private. Sitting on the porch, swing listening to the Serenade of birds and cicadas and watching baby bunnies bounce around while having a cup of coffee is hard to beat. It is not that far to get to town from this, but there are no walkable restaurants. However, you can get delivery. For those of you that need an electric charger for your cars there are a couple.
Highly recommend arrowhead inn.

The house is absolutely gorgeous with stunningly beautiful gardens. We stayed in the Benson room, which was incredibly lovely and the whirlpool tub was amazing. The four poster queen bed was one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had. This was our first B&B stay and we will absolutely be back.

Lovely historical inn. Beautiful grounds. Remarkable old trees, especially a tilia (linden) the largest I've ever seen.
Nearby activities: Durham has many fun and interesting things to do. Eno river hikes, historical sites, arts, music.
