I had a great experience renting a Acorn + Oak managed property. In particular, my primary point of contact, Jeremy Smyth, was also fast to respond to any issues that needed to be addressed or qestions we had about the lease/property. I would recommend renting an Acorn + Oak managed property, especially if you can work with Jeremy.

We've rented with Acorn & Oak for the past few years and have had a great experience with Brooke P and Danny R. In our most recent rental, they and the homeowners have been very responsive to maintenance requests and seem genuinely interested in keeping the property in good shape and addressing our concerns. Further, Acorn & Oak is one of the best rental companies in the triangle area with regards to rules about pets. If you are looking for a rental and have a few four-legged roommates, then A&O is a must to check out.

hard to get in contact with agents except one (out of several properties I wanted to consider). she was very fast to reply and accommodated me for a viewing past her business hours (2 stars for that). however, i didn’t feel welcomed. i get it— small houses don’t really have much to show but as a (somewhat) first time renter coming from out of state it would be nice to be shown more hospitality… really was my top choice because i would prefer a (town)home but the overall customer service experience left me very underwhelmed compared to my expectations based on the reviews

My wife and I moved into a home managed by Gina back in March. We were on a tight schedule and Gina accommodated us by giving us a virtual tour and even doing some measuring for us to make sure we could fit our furniture. All the paperwork and payments and such are online in their portal which is easy to use. I also found the language of the lease to be easier to read and parse than other places I've rented in the past.
We've been here nearly 6 months and have had a few maintenance issues to call in. Each time Gina responded within 24 hours and usually I was in contact with their partnered contractors within 48. In one case where the HVAC was out in 80-90F weather (capacitor needed changing) and the contractor came out and fixed the issue less than 24 hours after I reported it!
I found Acorn and Oak by Googling around for reputable property managers (from a tenant's perspective) and they live up to the hype!

We just moved into a rental this year with Acorn and Oak and are genuinely very happy with our experience! We have loved working with Cheyenne, she is very helpful and responds to my countless emails (lol) very quickly and made this process very easy!

I have been working with A&O for 5 years and it’s been a great experience. They are able to leverage a large network to quickly attract and screen good tenants to keep properties full. Jeremy has been great to work with and is always responsive and looks out for the best interests of the landlord and the tenants.

It was an amazing experience with Acorn+Oak. It was our first day, my family and me. 4 kids including a seven month old boy. I remember, we arrived 2 days before the beginning of the rental. We had lot and lot of luggage; 12 big bags in waiting to the 6 carry on and baby's stuff. The agent was so special and let us take all the luggage gone immediately before heading out to the hotel. The journey started and it had been wonderful all through! Every issue was addressed immediately; within a timely manner. We felt we had a support family away from home from day (-2) actually. Our agent was really amazing at all levels. A true human being. We thank you Gina for everything. They will be extremely lucky the people that will rent from you and work with you. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband and I worked with Gina to rent our beloved home. We had outgrown it and begrudgingly decided that we should rent it before trying to sell it. I was anxious the entire time but Gina was responsive and helpful in walking us through the steps. We are glad that we are went with Acorn & Oak and glad that Gina was with us every step of the way.
