Let me tell you, these women loved and cared for my children like they were their grandmothers. On top of that they were affordable and have great hours.

I found Academy of Stars at a time when a different childcare broke a promise to provide care for my some because of his motor skill delays. Mrs. Bryant welcomed my son with open arms. Mrs. R, Mrs. T., Mrs. F and everyone else (including the awesome new cook) shower my son with love on a daily basis. The center purchased a walker just to help motivate him to try and walk and they also allow his therapist to come and provide sessions while he is at the center. My son is excited every morning when I open the car door and he realizes that we are in front of the daycare center. I believe their prayers and dedication to caring for Gabriel have helped him succeed and make so much progress with his motor skills. If you want a daycare center where it feels like your own family is taking care of your child then this is where you should bring your child. Thank you so much Academy of Stars!!!

If you are a parent looking for a Christian based daycare that truly embraces Christ and his teachings, Academy of Stars is the place for children!! I've had kids my kids AOS for 3 years, my 5 year old even graduated from there 2019. I am so grateful for this place, my daughter was so prepared for kindergarten we didnt have to place her in a pre k program. If my husband and I ever decide to have another one we will most likely be bringing them to AOS?

The staff here is wonderful...Ms Phyliss, Ms Freeman & Ms Dee...have a true love for the children. However the owner Ms Bryant has had some issues with maintaining working heat in this facility. On January 3rd we were forced to withdraw our son due to the heat was not working in the building for the 2nd day. Space heaters were being used which I later found was a violation. Upon speaking to the owner, Ms Carolyn Bryant, in regards to my concern of the heating issue (it was 52°) in the main where space heaters were being used. She showed a lack of concern for the health & safety of the children. Her only remedy was for me to take my son home & not pay for services that day. When asked when we should expect the heat to be working she could not give me an answer & began to her voice to tell me "just take your child home." I informed her that due to her attitude regarding the situation I would be filing a complaint; to which she responded "go ahead & file a complaint." She then hung up on me & called back to the center to tell her staff to contact the parents to inform them that the heat is not working & the center would be closed until heat was restored. I later found out that she was previously cited for thr space heaters, had another center closed due to violations, & also had a hearing regarding lack of insurance on this facility back in 2015. If you love your children do NOT send them to a facility owned or operated by Carolyn Bryant.
