I have rented uhauls from him more than once in the past and never had an issue until the last time which will be the last time. Some things happened and we ended up having to return it later than we had expected. First off they charge you for a day regardless if you keep it a few hours or a whole day you pay for a full day. But of course he charged us for being late and had my mama so upset from how he yelled and cussed at her she gave him a hundred dollar bill and said keep the change (it was almost 80 I think for being late plus gas) and about the gas he tried making a smart comment saying no gas had been put back in it. Well common sense tells you if we went over a few miles on estimated mileage and the gas needle isn't even moved hardly from where it originally was then obviously we put gas back. We forgot to pay attention to gas mileage (it showed estimate of how many miles the gas had) and thought we had put enough I just went off where I thought the needle was when we got it. But no matter what that doesn't give anybody the right to cuss and yell at a paying customer and then not even say thank you when she told him to keep the change. He made the comment he missed out on another rental well I am sorry, that's part of the business and things happen but he needs to take some anger management and learn how to handle a situation without cussing at someone who was also stressed and flustered and was pure scared to even drop the truck off after how he talked to her on the phone. I usually go to a place because I've used it before but next time I will go somewhere because there are plenty of other ones with a lot better customer service! And of course I swept the back out good and even swept the front and wiped the console down some because whoever had it before us spilled something and it was obvious and sticky but I always leave things cleaner than how I got them, that's just me. But they need to do a better job about checking to make sure it's cleaned when they are returned.

The person that assisted with the U-Haul rental was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the vehicles themselves suffer from the same lack of maintenance as any other U-Haul location (not the fault of the owner).
The first van we got had a check engine light and a tire pressure monitoring system that was missing a sensor on one tire. The thing that made me need to get another one was that the windshield wipers didn’t work and the windshield was so foggy I couldn’t drive without them. Fortunately he was able to put me in another van that I only needed to add air to a tire and it was good to go.
Overall I would rent there again, I just wish U-Haul would maintain their fleet a little better.

The wife there is extremely rude and apparently knows nothing. I called for a uhaul and was told I can come in later after work by the husband because they close at 8pm. I arrived after 6 and the wife said she does not do that and since I didn't understand her she was not going to talk to me. Hello! This is America she needs to learn customer service. The minute I walked in the store she was rolling her eyes. Oh well you won't get my business. Kick rocks Pops!

I rented a U-Haul truck from Mr. Patel. He made the reservation for me over the phone and made sure he had everything in order. When U-Haul made an error, he recognized it and corrected it right away. We got our truck and were on our way. I'd definitely do business with him again. Nice guy.

His customer service skills are significantly lacking. I was going to let his sneezing then rubbing his hands together, while handling my driver's license go, but his customer service skills only got worst. I asked him if he sold chargers. He pulled one out of a bag, asking me if I wanted high quality or regular. Of course, I chose high quality. When I got into the truck, the charger did not work. I brought it back, asking for an exchange. He then proceeded to make me wait until he was able to get to his car and try my charger out, requesting my adapter. Irritated and ready to get this all over with, considering he also requested my emergency contact number what seemed like a million times, I just asked for my money back. Surprisingly, I was able to stop myself from cussing after he then accused me that my intention was wanting my money back rather than wanting the charger to work in the first place. IDIOT! I just spent almost $200! Do you think money was a frickin' issue to me?! Stay clear from him and this place if you can. The owner is nasty and sucks at human. Again, I wouldn't have written this if he didn't stay as rude after I had already spent $200 here on a rental. I even told him good customer service seems to be lacking nowadays, huh? It is. Follow-up. I was able to get my old charger later. No issue with my adapter. DON'T BUY A CHARGER from him! If you do, test it before you drive off because he comes off as a scammer.
