The Holiday Open House did not disappoint! As always, there was a great selection of terrific products, an incredible discount, an amazing spread of refreshments and they featured local vendors. All the staff was friendly and helpful to me, my mom and aunt. I picked up a couple small gifts at a great discount.

My family and I were in Dunn today at another store and we swung by this one out of curiosity. My husband and I both agree that we were met with the nastiest looks by not only the staff but the other customers as well. There were 4 people out of the entire working staff that actually smiled when responding to a question or at all. I bought a dress and a couple other items but I don't know if it was because we are a "mixed race" family or because I went in my overalls from working outside today and my family being equally as dressed down but we were looked at like we didn't belong there. Nonetheless, I absolutely did not like the feeling of being watched like I was going to steal something or because I was dressed the way I was I couldn't afford to be there. It was overall an extremely uncomfortable shopping trip felt by my husband and I both.

Took my wife to get a new purse, she wanted the totes of simply southern. Walked out with nothing. Will not shop at a place where they will watch you like you are about to steal because the way you are dressed. The young dirty blond girl behind the jewelry counter. I have shopped here before and never had a problem, but blue jeans and a tshirt is just to low class.Went back to town and bought from a small shop.

Today I was told by some lady who I have seen here for years that I was not allowed to take a plant from one cell pack and put it in another. I explained that it was missing a plant and she said she was watching me and saw me take something out. Again I explained that the cell only had dirt so I removed it and put another plant in it and that it wasn't the only one like that. She said well that's okay and I left. I said no it's not okay. I have spent ridiculous amounts of money here on plants, trees, shoes, eyeglasses, soil amendments and untold gifts. Never again.
