I had an excellent experience taking my Puggle with nerve pain to Dobson Veterinary Hospital. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and thorough, while keeping the price reasonable. I will be bringing all of my pets here!

The desk attended was rude, just stared at me when I would try to ask for an accommodation for my fearful sharpei mixed rescue dog who tries to bolt & has in the past. The vet and her daughter tried to push apoquel even after I said I've had bad experiences with that med and I don't trust it and don't want to use it on my dog. The vet didn't want to do a skin scrape to find the cause of itching and I persisted since this happened at a previous vet who just gave prednisone back to back twice and an antibiotic. She reluctantly did the scrape but tried to make me feel bad about going ahead with it. Turned out she has sarcoptic mange. She prescribed BRAVECTO which I'm also scared of due to some reviews and a lawsuit. I went ahead and consented because it's supposed to cure the mange and "the only other thing was a dip that they don't recommend anymore." 2 days later my dog had diarrhea and I had some questions to ask regarding it and the current diagnosis. The desk attendant (the other one not the rude one) said she would give my message to the vet and the vet would call me later that day. It's now been 7 days and they have not called. I feel that the never cared from the beginning due to the rude attendant because they didn't want to accommodate my dog and just stared at me and avoided my questions which increased MY anxiety. I guess now they are mad because I won't try apoquel which is something that caused my dad's dog to be really sick and I have read what others have stated it did to their dogs. They haven't tried to follow up ask how my dog is doing or even bother returning my call which I actually went there because they won't answer the phone. I honestly expected better and don't know where to turn. I wish I could find a vet out here who would truly understand my dog, be compassionate and not try to push things I am not comfortable with when I say no.

Got my dog Radar in the next day! They’re so friendly and kind! My German shepherd, Radar, is reactive around strangers and they handled him perfectly!

Dr McLamb is amazing. I started bringing my German Shepherd puppy to her and have been so happy with the way they treat their patients and owners. One of the best vets I've ever gone to with any of my dogs.

They were able to take us when our regular vet was closed and after our experience I am thinking about switching to them! The facility is lovely and the staff was all so nice. My dog is in no way happy or cooperative when at the vet and they really took the time to sit with him and make him feel comfortable before doing anything else. So happy with this place!

Dr. McLamb and her staff are always so good to our furbabies. We've been coming here for 30 years or so. Dr. McLamb loves all furbabies and is so caring and good with them. Thank goodness she's only 10 minutes from our house.

They charge a $ 25.00 cancellation fee! Rediculous! I was looking for a vet; needless to say it won't be your office!
