I loved staying at this sweet Inn! The owner was fantastic and everything was very clean. I will definitely return. The only thing i would change is the heavy fragrance that was used to wash the sheets and towels. It was just too much for me. If your sensitive, be aware and come prepared, it's worth staying. :)

The owners are delightful, the room we stayed in was perfect and the rustic furnishings were very cool. Wonderful areas to relax on the river and watch birds. Laid back, eclectic vibe. Walk to town and back for dinner. Loved this place and would stay again.

Nothing short of magical and enchanting. From the moment we showed up, we felt like family. TJ and Terry were so gracious and accommodating. The proximity to the river, the hot tub and just the overall vibe lent itself to rest and relaxation. We could not have asked for a better experience. We will be back.Walkability: Two blocks from the city of DillsboroFood & drinks: Foragers Canteen, Quirky Birds, and River and Rail.

We've been coming to this hotel for at least 15 years! Every time we come it's such a pleasure! Always greeted with a smile and big hellos. The view and sound of the river is so relaxing. Then at night we roasted marshmallows for smores. We always leave relaxed and refreshed to return home. Highly recommend staying here! Tj and Terri are absolutely the most amazing hosts ever!

Best kept secret in western NCJennifer nailed it too. Completely Restful, country first class, friendly, owners live on premises and make you feel like family, very secure location, Marine Corps spotless inside and out. Read detailed description of each suite on line. On a 1 to 5 scale, it is a 10. Great nearby restaurants and antique stores. On river bank with Spectacular view and running river sounds

Although only for a night, it was a magical stay along the Tuck River just steps into the quaint town of Dillsboro. We were visiting WCU and looking for a comfy stay that was unique to the area. TJ and his pups were great hosts. We enjoyed a fireside chat while playing fetch with one of his furry family. The rooms were spacious and the beds and linens were super comfy with ample pillows. I would love to bring friends and family here when it's warmer after a day of rafting on the river.

This place is a rare gem tucked away in the trees above the river. My 2 night stay was very peaceful. Sat by the fire and had s’mores with lovely guests and was invited to a morning yoga session. What a great way to start the day. The room was clean, coffee and snacks provided, and comfy bed/sheets. I felt like I was in a hallmark movie❤️I am looking forward to another stay.

The pictures advertised on the site are nice with a porch overlooking the river. We did not have a room like that. It is not a bed & breakfast and we were made aware of that. Do not expect breakfast. There are small packaged muffins (2) packs in the room and 2 Nature Valley granola bars for breakfast. We paid $200.00 (including tax) for a suite that had a musty smell, no view, we were up and down all through the night adjusting the self- controlled heaters in the rooms (the heater in the front room died completely - maybe propane or something ran out .... we could not figure that one out). This was in March and the temperature was 21° at night outside so it would have been convenient to have working heaters. If we did not pay this much for the room, we may have understood why it was so inconvenient ($50.00 or $75.00 per night would have been appropriate). We did have a coffee maker in the room with coffee grounds in a tupperware container supplied by the Dillsboro Inn. I'm sure everyone that stays in that room uses this same plastic container. There are not convenient locations close by for breakfast. You could walk or drive to find a restaurant. We did spend (1) one night at this place and we could hardly wait for morning to arrive so that we could leave. We feel sick that we chose this place to relax because we were stressed instead. The Tucksegee River was the only highlight of the stay. We walked to it from the room and sat near the river to enjoy. We will not return and put ourselves through an experience like that. Too bad .... we had really looked forward to visiting Dillsboro.?

We stumbled upon this hidden gem after a very long and unexpected day. However, Dillsboro Inn became the highlight of our trip! The owner and staff were so friendly, the property was well kept, and the entire vibe was so relaxing. At night, they provided smores and a fire and during the day we were able to swim in the creek. It was a great experience to say the least and we will definitely be back as soon as we can!

Dillsboro Inn is truly a magical place to stay. The river is right there and so peaceful. Walking into the little downtown was easy. The owner, TJ, is helpful, personable, and you can tell he really loves and takes care of this destination. Will most certainly be back! Such a lovely way to ring in the new year.

I love the Dillsboro Inn. I've been coming once a year (more or less) for many years. It's rusticly beautiful. That's the only way I can describe it. It's like a mega huge house or multiple cabins - all outdoor accessible. The owners randomly walk around checking on their guests, ensuring there are plenty of muffins and goodies in the rooms. Quiet. Peaceful. My absolute favorite place to stay in the western NC Mountains!I've stayed here both when I have had meetings within 30 minutes driving time or for a get away.... My favorite part is sharing this gem with my family, particularly my dad who loves the second floor, riverfront rooms.

Looking for a place to stay, with no prior reservations during fall leaf season, we stumbled across the Dillsboro Inn and are we ever glad that we did. Super comfy, terrific sheets, tremendous views, AND walkable to town. What's not to like? I've uploaded some photos that demonstrate what a wonderful place it is. Should you be anywhere in this part of North Carolina, I suggest you book it ASAP.
