Top 10 things for young families to do near Boone. This was the sweetest activity on our drive from Boone to Greensboro. The kindest man owns this farm and not only can you pick blueberries, you can take a super fun creek trail & walk across a swinging bridge. It was a hit!

My parents (in their 60s) and three young sons (ages 6 & under) visited the farm today. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece of property with a huge selection of blueberry bushes. It’s an honor system (cash only) you pick situation, which is great. There’s a swinging bridge which was really fun and neat and then there’s also a creek walk. The farmer actually came down to help us navigate the creek walk (a series of well-crafted wooden bridges and planks along creek in a beautiful rhododendron thicket). He was so generous with his time and his farm is splendid. You will not regret a visit to this farm!

We had a great time today at Swinging Bridge Farm! We found the perfect tree at a very reasonable price and spent some time touring the property. Such a neat little place!

Even though we came late in the season when there wasn't too much picking left, we had a delightful time picking what was left. The folks who run the farm were so kind and inviting; they told us to check out the little creek trail in between blueberry hills, and it was beyond precious. My 3 year old wanted to do it 3 times in a row. Thank you Swinging Bridge Farm!

Beautiful location, friendliest people, and great pricing. Only thing that kept me from going full 5 star was the limited selection. But we enjoyed the more intimate experience and the owners are great with kids. Will come back here when they get the next wave of trees.

Such a lovely tree farm& the couple who own / run it are so nice. Had a great time walking around & finding a gorgeous tree! Definitely will go back next year for blueberry picking & next year's Christmas tree!

This was a great spot for blueberry picking! Lots of blueberry plants to choose from. I brought my 4 kids and we all enjoyed it. Not busy at all. There was one other family when we first came.
They have set up the best little creek walk course that was a lot of fun to walk through. And the swinging bridge is very swing-y!
We spent about an hour here today. The blueberry are on your honor and really a good price. Pesticide and herbicide free!
