The battery terminal on my Ford Ranger was bad and I decided to take it to Woodies which was not the usual place that I bring my vehicle too but decided to try them out. I asked for them to check on my battery and the terminals and when I got a call from them later that day they agreed that the battery terminal was bad and needed to be replaced. After that the worker told me that the brake fluid needed to be flushed and the coolant needed to be flushed. About one month before this day I had Firestone do that exact thing, flush my brake fluid and check on my coolant. So it’s obvious that they lied to me and were looking to get free money out of me. I went to the store and confronted the man who informed me of the brake fluid and coolant issues and I could visibly see the discomfort in realizing that I had caught them in a lie and he offered no explanation or excuse. I kindly asked for my keys back and told them that I refuse to do any business with them. Places like this are supposed to take care of their customers in need and not lie to them. I missed a whole day of work because of this place and my truck is still not fixed. I hate the idea talking bad about a place like this but I have to speak the truth and hopefully warn anyone else who does business with these people to not let them take advantage of you.

Do not! Do not take your car here! I take my girls car there. Tell them we had the o2 sensors changed twice and not to change them. I’m out the country and what do they do change the o2 sensors which again failed. $600 later. They took advantage of a woman and it’s very disturbing and makes me consider the USA less than a 3rd world country. You hear about this kind sick behavior but when it happens it’s ? Beware!!

Thanks to Darren & the Woodies team - without too many details, I had a "gremlins" car problem that could have SO easily gotten "upsold" to an expensive fix. Woodies solved it quickly & at a fraction of what I expected to pay. Real pro's, thanks!

My husband needed his window washer blades replaced and was prepared to wait since he didn't have an appointment. They took the car back and replaced the blades within 5 minutes and he was on his way. Thank you for the great customer service as always.

Been going to Woody’s for about a year now for routine maintenance like oil changes, etc… the first few times the service was great with no issues, then over the last 6 months or so the quality of work has declined. They have forgotten to reset my mileage after the oil change the last few times.
My most recent experience will be my last, I needed 4 new tires and paid over $1,000 to have them put them on and do an alignment. After I paid I went out to my car to find no valve caps on my new tires. Just a very simple oversight that shows their lack of attention to detail. After reading other reviews it seems like this is becoming a trend. Will do my service elsewhere from now on.

Poor service, they've recommended maintenance that was performed - by them - only months prior.
They quoted me for replacing a part on my vehicle. I found that the dealership provided a cheaper price for same service.
Failed state inspection due to several items needing service. Other reputable businesses in the area find no issue and pass state inspection.

Outstanding shop! We were in a jam when my son accidentally put diesel fuel in our Toyota Corolla and got stranded in Cornelius. The initial tow was to the local dealer who tried to sell us parts we didn't need totaling around $1.5k. I then paid for a 2nd tow to Woodie's and they had us fixed and out the door for under $400. Great people!!!

Thorough high tech diagnosis of an ignition coil problem that I was afraid was something much worse. Same day fix of that plus other maintenance that brought my car back to new. Friendly shuttle drivers.

Overcharged me 700 dollars to get my water pump replaced and then never changed the thermostat. Had 3 other reputable mechanics confirm the rate was outrageous and that the thermostat should have also been changed because they replaced the water pump and radiator hose. They also told me I needed an oil change when I just had one, and said I needed to replace the oil gasket and spark plugs. The other mechanics told me the spark plugs were fine and I never needed to replace the gasket. The oil change I have no clue why they recommended that maybe they confused me with another car. The manager argued with me about it so now I’m having to call corporate. No resolution.
