It was a beautiful mountain ride. Horses are well tempered and well trained. Guide was AWESOME. Highly recommend

First time riding at Arrowmont and the first time on a horse for most of my family. We had an amazing time and a great ride through the mountains! Our guides took great care of us and paired us with the perfect horses. The scenery was amazing!
Arrowmont is a 200 acre working horse farm tucked away in the majestic mountains of western North Carolina. At 4000 feet in elevation there are incredible 30-mile views for you to experience on the horse trails. They are truly majestic. You have 5 trails to choose from varying from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Plan an added 30 to 45 minutes for a safety program and trying out your horse before departing on your trail. After your ride, you may also enjoy relaxing in our comfortable vacation cabins. They have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, full kitchen, dining area and fireplace. Some even have a great view of the mountains. We’re definitely suited to your family retreat on your mountain hideaway or a romantic getaway for just the 2 of you.
