Picking up my prescription from this location is always an absolute nightmare. The people hired to work in the Pharmacy are not smart enough to do their jobs. Avoid this place at all costs.

Waited 45 minutes in the line to get my prescription. I need to be told I have to turn around and get back in the line because my prescription are not ready after getting a text and told they were ready so I left and came back to get in the line to wait another 45 minutes in the line to be told to have to get back in the line. My prescriptions are still not ready And I’m being questioned about my prescriptions. If I’m the person picking my prescriptions up, it’s clearly me. I’ve given my ID. My debit card my insurance card with all three have my name on them. They’ve also asked for my name my birthday. How can I clear that it’s me. Today to be at Walgreens please feel better today. Total tome 3 hours at Walgreens. Do better.

Don’t like to post negative reviews but beware. This pharmacy has went down!! They never have the stock to fill your meds. If you speak to the pharmacist, she becomes passive aggressive and sarcastic. I switched to the CVS down the road. I had 4 prescriptions filled in a timely manner and received great customer service. The CVS also seems to be staffed a lot better.

Extremely rude pharmacist. Support your local independent pharmacy instead.

Worst pharmacy ever! The pharmacist routinely interrupts you, cuts you off, even hangs up on you when calling for help. I had an issue where I refilled a prescription online-I had 1 refill left. When I got to the store it they said I had no refills. Computer glitch? No worries. I called my Dr but she couldn’t send refills because it showed I still had a refill at the pharmacy. It turned into a nightmare. The pharmacist wouldn’t listen, cut me off when I was explaining, told me to call my doctor, hung up on me after saying “I already talked to you today!” Without even listening to why I called. After Over a month of back and forth I had the idea to call another Walgreens. Their pharmacist said that the bethel church Walgreens didn’t have enough of the medication when they filled it, so they had done a partial refill. But somehow they zeroed it out of the system. My refill was still in the “bin” at bethel church. I called bethel church Walgreens back and they were adamant that it wasn’t true. Over a month later I finally got a new prescription from my doctor (who said all she needed all along was for the pharmacist to let her know there was a computer error but the pharmacist never contacted my doctor despite a month of back and forth where I told her exactly what needed to be said and she said she called my doctor. My doctor says she didn’t. Then I finally go pick up my prescription and I got a partial refill. No one told me it was only about half my medication when I bought it but if you pay for a partial, insurance won’t cover again until next month. But wait… She said that I didn’t have a partial refill just sitting there… how much do you want to bet that the meds I got were the ones she said weren’t sitting there all along! She is an unprofessional, rude liar who is bad at her job. Beware before going here!!! Picture below shows the refill- it was supposed to be 90 tablets.

I like Walgreens. No problem with service. My complaint is the dirty building outside. It has needed power washing for years! Covered in green mold. It is an eyesore to our community. Please clean!

This location is one of the worst pharmacies that I have ever used. They never get orders straight even when we have discussed the same issues for the last 3 months. They are rude, and don’t care about customers. I have been using Walgreens for dozens of years without any complaints, but recently moved nears this one off Catawba in Cornelius and after a year of long lines, continuous mistakes and rude to customers, I have switched to the Publix in Cornelius. Publix is great, professional and excellent customer service.

I moved my prescriptions away from Walgreens a good while back due to the constant frustration associated with getting them filled. A family member still uses Walgreens. Their most recent prescription, after multiple phone calls, delays, frustration, etc. was finally ready. This is an accurate description of just about every time! This particular time, she called the doctor's office and told them about the delay and Walgreens telling her it could not be filled on time (inventory was NOT the problem). After a bunch of frustration, phone calls and hassle had seemed to clear the air, I went by to pick up their prescription for her. Mind you, Walgreens did not lift a finger to do any thing. The person at the Pharmacy drive thru proceeded to give me a lecture on how my daughter needed to get the prescription filled out properly in the first place as there was a mistake on it. To which I responded that in all of my years of getting prescriptions, I do not even recall actually seeing a prescription as ALL doctors have the prescription sent straight to the drug store. And further that I disagreed with her and that it was not the patient's responsibility to tell the Dr that the patient must review the prescription first for errors!? And just how a patient is supposed to know if there is an error?? Walgreens has very apparently decided to shift resolution of questions on prescriptions directly to the patient and not lift a finger to help the situation. And here all this time I thought pharmacies actually talked to doctor offices if there was a question on a prescription!? I can assure you, per the Walgreens' employee in the Pharmacy drive thru, Walgreens is not going to lift a finger to do anything, even though patients never lay eyes on prescriptions to begin with.

If I could give a zero that’s exactly what I would give. I went to pick up my prescription, and Payton who was checking me out, pulled my name. Once she pulled my name, she said to me, your prescription is $278.00. I said okay, and at that time she froze. I then asked if everything was okay, and why are you staring at me like that. Immediately, I felt uncomfortable and upset at that very moment. She me feel as if I couldn’t afford the prescription, because the color of my skin. I then ask if I can split the transaction into 2 payments. At this time she is asking her co-worker if that’s something she can do, she was beginning to become belligerent. Jakeira who was trying to assist, Payton began to get belligerent as well. Apparently, she was eating lunch and Payton disturbed her which made her mad at me. The 2 of them treated me very unprofessional and were very insensitive. Jakeira, never asked me if I needed help taking the prescription, which I did. I will be going to another pharmacy, the both of them were very distasteful and I hope other customers doesn’t have to experience what I did.

I understand the COVID dilemma and shortage of workers, however, I had made an appointment to get the booster on Oct 6, rushed back from Ft. Mill to make the 10:00 appt and made it. When I went to sign in, the clerk had my paperwork and then tells me my Medicare card on file needed to be updated, so I thanked her. I have the card on file at the Pharmacy and have never been told I need to do that.Today I dropped off my script ( paper) today at 413, she asked if I wanted it filled today, yes please, got my phone number, she was to check if they had enough. Well I went back by at 5:45 to pick it up, I was told they didn’t have enough to fill, so I asked for the script to have it filled elsewhere. The Pharmacist told me, I couldn’t have it and I would have to call Dr. and get a new one, what… I believe I have gotten the paper script back when not filled. Then he said it would be Monday or Tuesday, really,,, Needless to say I am not happy. A quick text or phone call would be in order, but no one I will be switching to a other,

Terrible pharmacy with no regard for the customer. They schedule vaccinations during lunch hours and make people wait around for an hour while they are out to lunch. When you question what is the delay, you are greeted with an extremely rude person saying they are doing the best they can. Store manager is also useless and tells you they are doing the best they can. Definitely would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

The pharmacy has been going downhill for the last 6 months. I’ve used them for the last 10 years, and now every month when it’s time to get a refill, I get excuses, or the “oops I forgot”. Highly recommend using a different pharmacy because the current staff isn’t competent.
