During christmas 2023, i ordered my sister a bunch of makeup as her present. since i was “late” on checking the mail this mailwoman returned it all the way to the sender. keep it mind my mailbox is right behind my house so on her way out all she had to do was drop it off.

I’ve had to ship quite a few packages at this location, and as a younger person the staff can be 50/50 to me. There is two nicer older gentleman who work there and 1 nice lady who may have left, but today when I went in the newer lady on the right was very annoyed by my presence and when I tried to get a shipping estimate she did not let me take a photo of my options which is not something the USPS has ever stopped me from doing before. The UPS even allows people to take photos of their estimates.

Customer service here is horrible! There were 6 customers in the lobby and the lady yells at me and says," You just dropping off a package?" I stated I needed a small piece of tape and she yet against yells at me across the post office lobby and says,"You can buy tape. We ain't giving you any." I took my package and left. There were at least 4 dispensers of tape on the counters. Not sure when USPS stopped taping packages, but that's not how you should speak to people. I went and had my package taped elsewhere and sent it off. UPS has no problem taping packages or even packing them for you. Will not visit again.

The tall man at the front desk is EXTREMELY RUDE! I politely asked the female worker at the front if I could borrow tape to finish packing my return, which was allowed in the past. The male worker interrupted our conversation and started yelling at how I should've came with everything already taped, ready to go, and how they do not allow us to use tape anymore . There was only myself and another customer currently in the store, so there was no need to yell. I then stated to him that I was unaware of this new rule which he then interrupted me again and began talking to me in a condescending manner. I tried to end the conversation and said I'll just come back (knowing I wouldn't). He then proceeded with his nasty attitude so I just walked out. Based on previous reviews, I see other customers dealt with his nasty attitude as well, which I'm sure was unwarranted. I ended up going to UPS down the street where they packaged my returns, with a smile, and had an amazing attitude. I will never return to this USPS! No wonder this place has a bad rating!

ahh yes you have a package to ship and haven't taped the top up yet because it's a return, it will cost you 4$ to use our tape otherwise you have to go home and do it.

Sent a package on October 31, 2022. Package still shows in transit . I called on January 16, 2023 and Kevin at corporate said I would get my $31 back. Ellen in Cornelius said it had been over 30 days, so she didnt think i could get my money back. It's still in transit!!!!! On January 18, 2023 @ 12:39pm, Ellen said she would check into it and get back to me. Crickets!!!! Tried to call the post office, but they let it ring until it hangs up on you, no message machine to leave a message! Also, sent a package out on February 28, 2022 and just got the return receipt back on March 1, 2023!!! What in the ever loving hell is going on at that post office? Not doing a great job guys!! Instead of blaming the paying customers, look at your own performances!!!!

Our mails are lost very frequently and we get other people's mails all the time. Just recently, I did not receive my Id that was mailed from NCBMV and did not receive my credit card which was mailed from my bank. We are also receiving our neighbors' mails, including urgent labelled ones. For example, we received our neighbors insurance cards in my mail box few weeks ago and we had to go and put those in the correct mail box. I always hear my neighbors are complaining for the same reason. This should be fixed. We tired of having our mails delivered to other peoples' mail boxes.Why does my confidential information (ID, credit card etc.) go to other people hands???? Who will fix this?

The customer service here is a joke!!!! I don’t need to be educated in how to return a package like I’m a child. If you can’t seal it with tape then apologize and explain why and acknowledge that I now need make this trip another day to return this. Such a dad state of affairs and reminds me why I avoid USPS whenever possible.

We always get our mails lost, and we receive other people's mails in our mail box. Obviously, the person who bring the mails is delivering the mails to wrong address. This happens very frequently. When we want to fill a complain it is impossible. The phone number they provide does not work. Also, on the website the place where supposed to have which place to contact for complaints is empty.

Update from 3 years ago: dropping from 3 stars to 1.Not sure if there was a staff change but in the past month or so my packages have been either permanently missing, turned away for "insufficient address", or magically appear after I make a huge fuss.How tacky.There is never an excuse for poor customer service, especially when the patronage of the public helps cover the salaries of employees.My time and resources will be better-spent at a different postal facility.Reminder: ALWAYS take complaints to the top: uspsoig . gov._________________Service here for me has always been good but I am deducting two stars for the awful layout. When this place gets crowded (due to how small the customer area is inside) it's a logistical nightmare for folks trying to get in and out of the building through the front doors. It would be a great service to customers if the self-service kiosk was AWAY from the front doors.As for those who have voiced complaints about service and gotten responses deemed unsuitable, take your complaints to the Postmaster General of the United States, either by phone or via the USPS website. This applies to complaints regarding ANY U.S. post office/employee. Commendations/praise can be noted this way as well.

It's very difficult in today's world.Still, thank you so much for being there.But....I was waiting to get my tax refund check due to ERC benefits for my business last year, and the check I was supposed to get around March last year arrived on January 27th, 2022.This is not the first time, but last time as well, an important email did not come on time, so I had to process the account twice, so I paid an additional $600, but this time I lost to $6000.(ERC Credit)I was heartbroken because of the loss (delivery was delayed by a year), so I called the supervisor, but she was so rude that it hurts my heart.Due to a frequent delivery accident, I was not able to receive important documents on time, which caused a lot of damage, so I called Cornelius 4:30pm supervisor.She ended her call saying I didn't know and That is not my job, you better ask the person who delivered it."You know, I was on the phone but she just hang up the phone.I think she's a really pathetic supervisor.The person who ends the call saying "I don't understand why you suffered a loss" without taking into account the position of the customer who suffered a major loss is the supervisor!!!!I don't think she deserves to be a supervisor.
