Approximately a week prior to Christmas, I came in with significant symptoms, including a high fever. The attending physician conducted a test for strep, which returned a negative result. Upon our request for a flu test, the doctor responded in a manner that lacked professionalism, stating, "people who have the flu do not have their makeup done", and declined to administer the test. Subsequently, I sought a second opinion later in the week, and it was confirmed that I was indeed suffering from the flu.

My husband was treated extremely poorly at this clinic. After promising to contact him after his experience no one has made an effort to talk with him after two weeks. I can only assume they are proud of their 3.3 star rating Just for reference the McDonald’s down the street has a 3.5 star rating. Whatever you do, do not go here, an Atrium clinic is right down the street. Their reviews are much more positive This organization should be ashamed of its actions and inaction

I had been sick for close to a week and decided to get it checked out. They got me in quickly (I had an appointment) and I had no issues with the quality of care or service. This being said, the bill came out to $340 just for the visit (tests were extra). Considering my consultation with the PA took less than five minutes this is far in excess of the normal cost for being seen by a PA for a relatively minor health issue. I would recommend shopping around for more affordable care if you are not having an emergency.

Have a severe headache and nothing I can take is getting rid of it. Went to this UC tonight - arrived at 7:32pm- they don’t close until 8:00pm - and I was told they were taking no more patients. Very poor customer service.11/10/23 - I filled out your form but will anything really be done considering tons of reviews on here are about my same complaint. Just because you post a response to make it look like you are concerned isn’t the case when it keeps happening. Maybe you need to replace the manager these complaints are going to? I worked for 5 years at the Lakeside UCs before they closed and I guess you took over. The staff I worked with were always professional and never turned anyone away 30mins before we were schedule to closed. I can see under GO Health the UCs have really gone down hill.

I arrived 1:30pm today and was asked if I had an appointment and note there was only 1 person in waiting room, she told me that it was a 4 hour waiting list and that they close at 5pm. Rude and not concerned. Why is this called an Urgent care when you have to make an appointment? I have been a patient at Novant for 15 years and have never been treated like that.

Erin Wagner PA and her assistant that saw me over the weekend are absolutely the best I will give her and her staff a 10 put of 10 on efficiency, knowledge, bed side manor, and everything else. She was able to explain things to me on my level instead of a medical level. Ms. Wagner and her assistant even came out and assisted me and my grandson when my truck wouldn't start after my visit. I will most definitely visit this office in Cornelius every time I need to be seen in urgent care. BIG SHOUT OUT TO ERIN WAGNER PA AND HER STAFF IN CORNELIUS NC!!!!!!

I would not recommend this urgent care. I went last Friday, around 2:30 pm, for my son with a broken toe or foot (at the time we didn't know yet.) I was immediately asked if we had an appointment. I was a little thrown off by this, because having appointment defeats the purpose of 'urgent', doesn't it?? Of course, I didn't have an appointment, I wasn't planning on my son breaking a bone. I felt the lady at the front desk showed little concern and continued to make me an appointment for 5:00 pm. I took the appointment just in case I couldn't get in anywhere else. I left and immediately went to the Atrium Urgent Care down the street, and they got us in 5 minutes and were so very kind and understanding. Must better experience there.

The doctor (and the rest of the staff) were so kind and very very attentive. The doctor I saw helped ease my anxiety and peace of mind during my visit.

Do not recommend coming here! The front desk woman was incredibly unhelpful and could not have cared less to help us. She was much more concerned with talking to the girl next to her about how she just wanted to go home and not be at work. Basically told us if we didn’t like it then just go to the ER. Go anywhere but here!

Erin Wagner, PA is in this field for all of the right reasons. She was amazing and never once did I feel dismissed even though she easily could've sent me on my way with nothing. I didn't get the girls name that brought me back but she made me feel more comfortable once I was back in the exam room as I didn't really even know how to explain what was going on with me. I was a walk-in and my wait time was maybe 45 minutes and considering there was only one provider on duty with 3 others ahead of me...I was pretty impressed by that. My prescription was ready within an hour. I have no complaints, this was a very pleasant experience (as pleasant as urgent care can be)

Went there Sunday for my wife as she had a terrible cough and it appeared her Oxygen was low. We were met with lack of concern and asked if we had an appt.....we did not as we expected Urgent Care which to me is urgency, prior to a hospital visit.....they stopped taking walk ins so they did recommend Iredell Health System and they were caring and helpful. Even though we live in Cornelius we will bypass Novant and head directly to Iredell Health.

Worst customer service ever. Have been there twice and both times the front desk staff was so rude. HIPAA rights definitely violated by their discussion of my care in front of other patients.

Incredible care both times I’ve been there. Once for myself with bronchitis and then with my son’s broken arm. They went above and beyond!!! I will always go here for future urgent care needs!!

Brought my 6 year old in for possible ear infection. Made an appointment online, and were brought right back to a room once we got there, no waiting. Saw Erin Wagner and she was fabulous with him. I'd definitely come back to this location again.
