Great experience renting a storage unit from Mark and Mike. Was able to choose a space and do the paperwork in less than 30 minutes. The unit is inside and very clean. Highly recommend!

To start, I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to for this situation. I had two storage units at the Bailey Road Cornelius location and the Manager there is Mark. He is nothing short of phenomenal!! He is so kind and very personable. Going through a divorce is never easy but he certainly accommodated my needs and genuinely cared about what my needs were. While I did clean out and vacate my units to put everything into my new home, if I ever did need another unit, I would only go back there and if he was still the manager there. However, the only caveat that would prevent me from returning there would be the rising costs per month of these units.

Kody and Mark are very good at what they do. They helped me find the correct size unit for my needs and made my experience easy and fun! They made sure I could easily access the unit and got me a great deal at the same time. Highly recommend. They made it so easy!

Easy, extremely clean, safe, always have plenty of carts. Office staff are astute, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Best storage facility!

Mark Gary was absolutely the most knowledgeable and attentive representative I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He represents the best in customer service and hospitality. Life Storage is beyond fortunate to have such high caliber staff on their roster. It was a real pleasure interacting with him.

Trina, the Assistant Manager from Life Storage in Cornelius NC, provided excellent customer service! I have been a long time renter at Life Storage and the monthly rent has continued to go up in price to the point where it was way over-priced. I had tried several times before in the past to reassess my rent being a long term renter and was always met with hard no’s and severely lacking in any customer service. However, Trina was a breath of fresh air. She was pleasant and genuine in caring about my situation and offered some options to keep me as a customer. Although she didn’t have the authorization to make any changes, she knew exactly who to reach out to and how to handle the situation effortlessly. She patiently answered all my questions as well. Even before I made it home, she had called with an answer to my situation. I was shocked at how quickly and efficiently she worked, very impressive. Even Mark, the Store Manage, was also very friendly and helpful as well. In a time where customer service is fading away, I feel Trina went above and beyond! I think she would make an excellent Store Manager if given the opportunity. She is the exact kind of person I would hire for leadership at my company and the kind of person I hope to emulate when I am working customer service. I really appreciate how she resolved my situation effectively and I will continue to be a customer because of her. Trina is an absolute gem and Life Storage is lucky to have her!

Mark, the manager I met when checking in, was super easy to work with and super efficient. Nice guy who clearly knows his job well and does it well.The facility is convenient and clean and easy to access.I wish a code wasn’t necessary to access the elevator once I’ve entered the code to enter the property and then entered it again to access the building. That’s the only reason for four rather than five stars.Having to enter a code to enter the elevator once inside the building seems unnecessary and is inconvenient when the doors close a little too quickly.Overall, a nice place with a very competitive rate.
