I so love to shop at Dutchmans! The beautiful furnishings, the uniqueness of their offerings, accessories, artwork-- it's quite the most pleasant experience! There is so much to see as the showroom is quite large and beautifully staged. I can't find the same experience anywhere else! Everything I've ordered is so worth the wait. Excellent quality. A shout out to sales, especially Shelley, Betsy and Marianne with their design assistance and enthusiasm. It all keeps me coming back. It's my happy place!

I had a nice experience here. The location I visited was gorgeous inside, staff was clearly busy but did check in on me twice actually. And they referred me to a rug service expert too. Other bonus: for an upscale interiors place, they do have a secret discount section I plan on going back when I'm ready to spend some money on interiors.

Took my mother in law to a doctor’s appointment this morning & since we were nearby, we walked in.We were greeted by Laura.She shared the following:Dutchmans is a Woman ownedSmall business.The owner started with a little flower shop in Highlands, North Carolina about 15 years ago. There are going to be five stores in North Carolina, three in Georgia. They sell everything off the floor so if you wanted eight of dining chairs and they only had four, maybe we could take them from another store.They offer full-service design so they have designers on staff every day & do in-home design and rugs & custom drapery.This place is a truly a must!PS I wish they offered a public restroom.That would be great! Especially since no one wants to leave to go tinkle and come back to shop again.Thanks!- Josephine

I can't believe how rude this store is, they wouldn't allow my 5 year old to use the restroom they said to go across the street to the grocery store. Needless to say I didn't go back to get anything!

I love coming in Dutchmans, for I always find wonderful things to decorate my house. I just bought a duvet and shams, and many things to decorate for Christmas. Everyone is so friendly as well. It just puts you in a festive mood.

First visit but won’t be my last. Found and purchased the luv game room swivel chairs of my decorating dreams - and bought the pillows displayed with them too. Absolute perfection for my space. I can’t wait for them to be delivered!

Dutchmans is a slice of heaven! I have been a customer since 2014 and absolutely love the designers that work there and everything in the store! They can bring any idea and style to life

I have purchased several items from this store a table and chairs and a dining table and will be looking for more furnishings for a new home. Recently purchased a couch and a king size bed. I also purchased bedding in August still remaining in original packing . The sales person was pushy on the color even though it was not exactly what I was looking for... never even offered to order the other option in the size I needed. They still carry the same item ... it has not been discontinued or marked down. I have had a color change in home and wanted to exchange for a neutral color. The store refuses to exchange item. The store “policy” is 7 days after purchase which is ridiculous. When I purchased that information was not shared. I did not ask for a refund just an exchange for something that is still a stock item. This is poor customer service and bad business. I will no longer give this store my business and they will lose thousands of dollars over poor customer service and policies. I have been a customer for years. They do not care about the customer only money in their pockets. I will take my business elsewhere for my future purchase in the upcoming months for my new home.

I moved to the Lake Norman area a little over a year ago.I wandered in this shop looking to furnish my new place on three separate occasions. I love the uniqueness of the pieces however I am not sure I will be back. I was interested in a few pieces but was never greeted or approached on all three occasions. The first time I took measurements of a piece and I went back and was interested in pillows and bedding. None of which were priced. I walked toward the three ladies at the counter who were too engrossed in conversation to acknowledge my presence. I left and did not even get a thank you for stopping in. I’m not sure how they sell anything in that store.

Way over priced and staff was not attentive, way too worried about moving things and staging than the teal customer. Owner must nit have been in sight as they would now a buyer from a lookie loo.

Went in prepared to furnish a new house, thought I would be there quite awhile. Asked for direction to rest room, was told to go down the street to Harris Teeter. They said it's basically too much work to kept after rest room with CoVid. So you will gladly take my thousands of dollars, but it's too much trouble to clean the rest room more often ?? Then stay closed. I wanted to support local business, but now off to a corporate store.

So excited about new store in Watkinsville/Athens area. Opening day visited store..beautiful setup with special decor. Just one problem..if you want customers to shop and feel welcome in an already expensive location, work on the customer service 0-10, with 10 being the best...0.
