Pros:: Staff members were kind at the front desk and accommodated us well. Room was clean. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, bacon, real brewed coffee, jiff peanut butter, etc.Encouragements:: the elevator was not working one day, but it was fixed the next day. This led to everyone using the stairs and slamming the doors, which were very loud for people in rooms near the stairs. Glass on some doors near the stairs were smeared with hand marks. There was some mold / stains in the corners of the showers, and there was hair leftover from someone before me on the toilet. Also, chiobani yogurt at breakfast would make it perfect!

Rooms didn't seem clean, and smelt bad the first day. Trash was in the hall. It was super loud, the walls must be thin. Tvs didn't work the first night, they fixed them the next day. Staff was nice, and the coffee and breakfast was good. Unfortunately I would not recommend staying here.

When we got to the hotel at 2 pm because that's what check in time on the choice hotels website says the lady at the front desk said there were no rooms ready because check in is at 3. So we had to wait around for an hour until our room was ready. They need to update the hours on the website. Then when we finally get to the room my husband found a broken Crack pipe laying on the floor beside the bed, so apparently the housekeeping didn't do a great job at cleaning and obviously someone had been smoking Crack in the room! Only good thing I can say is the location was great to go to the speedway.

Attended a conference. I'm not sure about the rooms but the conference room was very hot and there was an odor they could not get rid of.The staff tried for quite some time to adjust the temperature and they were apologetic about the odor. Again, I did not see the actual rooms, just the conference room.

Sheets had stains on them , doors to the parking do not lock, front entrance doors you have to slide open & close. Very small bathroom. Mold in the shower. Great

Great hotel, friendly staff, fantastic over the top breakfast. Even housekeeping was great. This hotel does take pets and there were a ton of them. If you are not a pet lover do not stay here. But with that said they kept it clean and neat as a pin and there was a great green area for pets to take care of their business.The only thing we noticed bug wise were few ants but that was to be expected. The first-room we went into had not been cleaned properly but they quickly moved us to a room that was clean, with no complaints.They were under construction so we were awake each morning by construction noise and drilling vibration.Rooms: The rooms were a little bit older but they were under construction remodeling three of the upper floors as we were there visitingNearby activities: It was close to everything and plenty of restaurants and shopping locallySafety: We felt very safe and sound no reason to feel unsafe in any wayWalkability: There was a couple of things within walking distance and some fast food locally that we could walk right to so very convenient for walking. Several gas stations within a two-block radiusFood & drinks: They had lots of places locally to eat some within walking distance also there were options to purchase inside the hotel in their storeNoteworthy details: The Pool was very big and very cold, their gym was amazing . It had a little bit of everything weight wise

The only thing we liked was that the hotelroom were clean and quiet. The Personell was also very friendly. Hotel was under construction but overall it was a worn out hotel. Pool was clean but needs remodeling. Backdoors were never locked and we found them wide open several times, so anyone could get in. Breakfast was simple, and I think there could have been more varieties. I will not stay here again.

We stayed here while visiting family nearby last week. The hotel is nice, clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nicely prepared and there was a good variety and well tended to by the woman preparing it. There is an outdoor pool that could use some TLC but still clean enough and refreshing on a hot day. Would also have been nice if there were towels provided for the pool or more in the room as there was not enough to use for both pool and shower the next day. I had to request more towels.Our major concern was the security of the building. We were fairly told upon checking in that the backdoor lock wasn't working and we understood, but upon further checking, none of the doors to the outside from the first floor actually locked. You could easily access the building with no key card requirement from every entrance. This was a little unsettling for safety sake. On the first morning there, I witnessed someone wander in off the street in an attempt to get the free breakfast, the staff promptly kicked him out, but knowing none of the doors locked, I feel like this could have been avoided. I had a room on the first floor with my husband, but if I would have been alone or had children with me, I would have asked for a room on a higher floor as I didn't feel very safe.Overall it was a nice hotel with plenty of restaurants and bars around but I hope they get the locks fixed soon.

It was a good vaule hotel. Cheap and what you needed. The breakfast was really good. First night I could only hear the fan of the next rooms bathroom. Second night we heard wedding resptions music that only turned the volume up progressively louder as the night went on. The rooms were clean, showed their age but renovations are happing so that shouldn't be too much of a problem for long. Everything worked fine and was clean. The pool looked really dirty and my husband was sad he couldn't go swimming in it. Not good for long term stays but if you just need a place for sleeping, a shower and breakfast its perfect.

The breakfast is awesome compared to the hotel I've just been to? I've never seen one bug, and it's always clean. The owners of the hotel work very hard to please their customers. when I visit again that would be my choice of stay And . Safety, they have nighttime security. He's a pretty decent guy he never sleeps. Respectful to everyone no matter who you are. I remember one time he had a problem with a homeless person. He even gave that person all of the respect they deserved even though they were being evil at the time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I loved my stayRooms: The rooms are awesome and very clean.Nearby activities: Hickory motorsportSafety: They have nighttime parking lot security And he never sleeps and is always getting out the car walking and patrolling The parking lot.Food & drinks: There is a awesome mexican restaurant across the street There is a wendy's and there is also a sheetz gas station That serves food 24 hours. There's a McDonald's across the bridge All in a walkable distance.

Room was ready upon check in, and we chose this hotel because we were traveling with pet. When staying at a pet-friendly hotel, we know not to expect a certain type of room. The rooms were fairly clean, and odor-free. The hotel is old & you can tell it has been remodeled. Sheets appeared clean and beds were comfortable. Towels & wash clothes were always dirty and covered in various hairs (I asked for extra everyday in hopes of getting clean ones, and would only get one clean out of every 6); the shower curtain was full of mold, and bathroom just didn't seem that clean.The walls are very thin - you can hear your neighbor having a conversation at a reasonable level. Or their alarm at 4:30am...Luckily, we only needed a few nights and could take our Littles somewhere else to clean up.I would not recommend for a family stay or longer-term stay.Rooms: Dirty towels, dirty bathroom, thin walls, comfortable beds, small

If I could give a zero I would. Customer service is horrible. I was promised a king room on three occasions. They claimed to not have one after promising there would be one available. After speaking to the manager, he advised me to go to another hotel. "there are plenty of hotels in the area, go to one of them"

the Hotel is great, room was cleans, beds comfortable and hotel staff was superb. The 4 rating is basically for the breakfast on Sunday morning, which I was not impressed. The young lady overseeing the food was apparently absorbed with her cell phone. She was not as attentive to the area nor the food. Complete opposite of the young lady on Monday morning. She kept the tables cleaned as people would get up and leave, checked the food frequently and was friendly. Would have left her a tip if there had been a tip cup. When we travel the hot breakfast is one of the things we look for. It is a nice way to start the day off and it is nice to feel welcome.
