Misdiagnosed my cat. He ended up passed 3 days later. My cat was only 3 years old. Refused service after I was upset with them for not doing anything else to help my cat and spent over $450.

Thank you for the immense amount of compassion you showed not only to our sweet pit bull Caliber, but also to us. You made his final moments so comfortable and gave us plenty of time to be with our baby as he passed. I will always be grateful to the wonderful staff here.

Most important, Shadow Ridge Veterinary Hospital took me in the day I called. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Fichera did thorough exam and explained to me in detail of what she did with my pet. I now have a new Vet!!!

Very attentive to my dog's needs, willing to fit her in last minute, and very gentle with her. They did great keeping me informed on what was going on with her, and the staff is top notch!

It was the day before Hurricane Helene was set to hit. It was a crazy time of preparation and anxiety about what the storm was bringing. Then our beloved Springer Spaniel was sick and feverish.
My regular Vet was booked solid and could not see her. We were frantic. Shadow Ridge would see her that very day...whew. Our baby girl had an infection in her one teat that came up overnight. They took great care of her and gave us meds for her. The fees were quite reasonable for an urgent care Vet.
By the next day, she was feeling better. One less thing to worry about as the hurricane blew in.

They always do a great job with all of our animals!! Their prices are also much more affordable than other places and there’s much less of a wait time!! I would definitely recommend bringing your animals here!!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Shadow Ridge is. My baby Wheezer began acting very off on friday and was brought in by my fiancé later that day. The vets close to our house would not see her and did not see her condition as urgent but Shadow Ridge did. They examined her and determined she had pyometra. When in surgery, they discovered her uterine had ruptured. They took such diligent care of her and even though her condition was severe, I am so blessed to say she is currently healing at home with me. I was in clinical all day friday in winston-salem and couldn’t be with her which was so hard, especially knowing how severely sick she was. I called saturday and was able to go in and see her. The front desk staff, veterinary assistants, and veterinary were all so sweet and answered any questions I had. I called again before they closed on saturday and was told she was doing exceptionally well and that I could come get her that day! She is now at home healing. All of the Shadow Ridge staff could tell I was anxious and never got annoyed or anything when I was asking so many questions and worried about her. They saved my baby’s life and I could never thank them enough. ?

These folks have a special place in heaven. My cat was attacked by another and ended up with some abscesses. One had ruptured. These sweet angels are taking care of my baby like she is one of their own. This team is the best. Thank you for taking care of my little girl.

The staff are very friendly and noticably care for the animals. Their building was built with animals in mind, specifically, they have easy to clean floors for when ....potty accidents happen. They also decorated the facility with beautiful animal images and photos. The exam room we were in had a calming diffuser plugged in (out of reach of the animals) and also a bath and body works plug in freshener! They had music playing. The vet also told me my little cat did great with the vaccines he go that day ... He barely looked up from the treat they were distracting him with!! It is AMAZING that they do so much to make the experience as positive as possible for the human and pet. They also call a few days after your appointment just to check in. Amazing!!
