I reserved the cargo van that I rented online, and that was a very quick and easy process. That plus the online check-in took me about 10 minutes. Picking up and dropping off the van was a different story.The positive was the van I picked up was actually quite nice, and it was clean as well.The negative was the customer service. One of the workers was extremely disrespectful to me at pick-up and drop-off. At pick up, she was rude to me right in front of the owner, yet she completely ignored it. At drop-off, I wanted to make sure I was leaving the van where the same employee wanted me to, and before I could even get the words out, she was yelling over me.If you can deal with the poor customer service, this is your place. If your overall experience matters to you, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re in a bind. This is the second time I’ve had an experience like this at this location. Great van, easy process, bad service.

Terrible place to work , rude establishment, they steal and lie in the 855 concord location . They over charge and keep your money .

Dear U-Haul, I had a great experience, and it was all because of Ms. Heather Trewyn she was Awesome! I will continue to do business with U-Haul as long as Miss Heather is always there, and I do believe she needs a raise! She has a great spirit and loving soul I most definitely give her {5 Stars} for a great customer service and for a Great Experience from a friendly environment from the U-Haul! Thanks!

This place is awful please do not rent from them they charge me 145 the day I rented the U-Haul for two days I took the truck back on time and it was clean this company told me I owe 129 extra on November 30 checked my account they charge my card 157 dollars this company is a rip off

They don’t want to to pump any propane even they they have 2 persons working upfront. They said they can’t pump until 12 ?

The woman who runs the place was top notch . She took a frustrating beginning to my rental and made it an excellent overall experience. Hate to see the poor experiences others have reviewed here but that was not my experience

We have had a storage unit with uhaul since March and the elevator has been broke. Everytime we come we have to go around and check in inside none of the key pads ever work. With all the people who pay for a unit there is no reason these things should not work properly.this is the one on 855 concord commons by the QT.

I needed to reserve a U-haul for an event I had on Saturday. I made my reservation earlier in the week for a 10 foot moving truck. Confirmed the reservation before hand and event got to the location an hour earlier than reserved time. When I got to the location the man who helped me did seem flustered. I answered the questions he had regarding my reservation (license, picture, number & payment). As he was going through the reservations on his system he had troubles seeing what they had available. Again, I made a reservation for a 10ft truck beforehand. He walks away to check for something and comes back to the desk and tells me "I won't be able to rent out a 10ft trailer, but I can give you a 15ft for the same price." I was a little upset because it was far more room than needed and I worried my supplies would slide around too much due to the extra room. I then obliged and told him "if that's all you all have, I'll make it work." I then asked him why the system allowed me to make the reservation if they didn't have any available. The gentleman who helped me explained my reservation was "up in the air". Basically meaning there was no reason to even make a reservation because they don't accommodate the needs either way. After I accepted the far too large vehicle. He walks away to check something again. The man walks back and explains he now doesn't have a 15ft but can rent a 17ft for the same price as the 10ft...... at this point I am upset because we are now 7ft larger than even needed. This giving even MORE room for my supplies to slide around. I appreciate the fact that he was able to keep the same price, but did not appreciate the lack of importance of the reservation I made online earlier in the week. He was professional, but the entirety of the experience outweighed his service.

Heather the general manager was extremely helpful. I had a mix up with some charges and she listened and fixed the mistake quickly. will be using this chain again 100% because of her.

Had the worst experience during the end of my tenancy at this Concord location. I was treated and spoken to in such a disrespectful manner by the manager Heather and another member of her staff. I was accused of owing a balance that was not corrected in the system, I was spoken to over the phone rudely and was promised an apology but never got one, and when it was time to move out the manager wasn’t helpful on assisting me in a timely manner but took the time to gather 2 other employees to watch me clear out my unit on a busy Saturday while giving me 1 hour to clear my storage after waiting for 45 minutes for them to give me access to my unit. When I first got my storage through the first manager there were no problems and everyone was nice but this new manager just tried to prove herself in the wrong way with the wrong one. Also witnessed her speaking to some of her staff members in a nasty way as well. I am an interior designer that was going to continue my storage needs with this location due to convenience but now after my experience I wouldn’t rent a trailer hitch from them if they paid me! Management makes or breaks an establishment.

I reserved a truck and an open trailer for my motorcycle, some moron in the office thought a trailer was a car dolly...Unfortunately this has been a typical experience with most U-Haul locations. Next time I'm going to Penske.

Katrina was awesome at check-in and the guy who helped me with the return was friendly and helpful. The only negative is sometimes it takes a while to get to the counter if there is a line.

JUST CLOSE THIS LOCATION DOWN! What’s the point???????????????????? Moving is stressful enough! I returned my uhaul early at 9am and I always take photos before and after. They call me at 1pm asking where’s the truck? Then I realized they charged me for another day. I go back in to have them correct it and 1st, I’m just standing at the counter while they gossip and no one greets me. Then, I get the worst attitude about my complaint. They start talking about some white girl who brought in a truck leaking oil, and this truck and that truck. They were all over the place. I patiently waited for the correction then the guy asked me “well did you even clean it?” “Because if I charge you for trash then there must’ve been trash like the last 3 trucks” Sir if you couldn’t figure out which truck was mines to begin with then you were NOT certain enough to charge me for trash! Mind you I took pictures!!!! Anyway, I leave only to notice that they charged me AGAIN!!! So I had 3 pending charges over the weekend. I called talked to Chris who didn’t seem to care. He said he’d take off $30 which he never actually did. But hey, spend your money there if you’re feeling lucky.

God I wish I read the reviews from here. I’ve ONLY had issues from this location. I reserved my rental online the day before. Upon arrival, I signed my paperwork and paid the dues. Got my form and went to look over the truck. First red flag was the license plate was not the one filled out on my forms. I stopped my walk around and went inside to inform the employee and was told to ignore it. Doesn’t seem legal but okay. My truck was filthy. The inside of the bed was black with dirt smudges, completely sticky and smelled like a wet dog. They obviously never clean these trucks. I did my move and brought it back in 6 hours instead of the 12 I rented it for. I also filled the truck back up the little bit of gas I used next door at QT. I made the mistake and listened to the employee who was outside with the return trucks when he told me to just leave the truck and keys inside and I was good to go. I should have said no and did the ending walk around. They charged me an additional large chunk of money.they said I drove over 40 miles when it was under 25, they charged me a fee for “not fueling up upon return” when I did. I got an additional charge of $48 two days ago (14+ days since I moved) saying I had additional charges I didn’t pay when I didn’t owe anything. This store was no help, customer service was no help and ignored everything I said about the charges and quality of the vehicle. Just don’t go here unless you want to pay $110+ for a 5 mile move. This place is a disaster.
