We had our child here for about 2+ years. The summer program is really nice filled with lots of neat activities. With the acception of the new lady Maggie H. (Who is very cold, never smiles, mean mugs children, unprofessional, says "ummm" way too much). All of the other staff seem to genuinely care about children and really belong here. We loved the director Kristen, very warm and positive person and very enthusiastic to be there working with the children. Its a revolving door with teachers. Our child had no consistency as to who would be their teacher this week or that week. Also, every morning we arrived the school/classroom was instantly out of ratio so my child would have to spend time in classes that weren't in thier age range. We ultimately decided to take our child out because thier was a transgender child in class... and how do you explain a boy that was a boy last week wearing pink dresses and sparkle headbands asking to be called "she/her" this week to a 3-4 year old??

I have nothing but good things to say about this location, sending my daughter here was like having her visit her extended family. We transferred to this center from another daycare and I wish we could have started with The Childrens Courtyard from the beginning of our daycare journey. The center is a direct reflection of their director who is kind, bubbly, and is always involved.I love how the staff greets your child, I love the quality of love, care, and comfort provided, I love the activities and events hosted, and I loved loved loved our 3 years being at this location where my daughter has made some lifelong connections. I’m so appreciative and thankful for the care my daughter received. The only reason we’re no longer here is due to relocation, but I wish my daughter could’ve stayed here until she was kicked out for being too old.

I apply in this school since July last time I talked tonsomeone she said I was in a waiting list and will call me then about a month after they called me which is today and left me a message. I called back. It took the lady so long to find my info. She kept saying she didn't call and not sure who called after persistently asking her to look she sees that I would not leave the phone then she asked me for my name and find my info but she said it was a tour that I miss which I never received or scheduled and not show up for. Then she was laughing haha I'm not sure who called you haha you. Every short sentence she said she laughed haha behind it, after stressing me the whole time. I'm notnsure who this woman is but she is so unprofessional. Things are so unorganized. Shame of them, I am very disappointed. Was looking forward to bring my child there but I wonder if they are good at their job or care anough for the children.

Lack of organization, communication, curriculum and structure. I advise any parent to search this facility on the state website and view their many violations before sending your child here. The director, Kristin, needs to be replaced. Overall 0/10. Not a good facility.

I want to start off by saying the level of professionalism here by the staff from the moment you walk in deserves an A++. Ms Brooke and Ms Kristen the director are there to answer any questions. The teachers communicate with me my daughters daily progress. My family and I are new to the area and I am relieved and that we found Childrens Courtyard. My 5 year old is happy to go to school and request to be picked up “later” so she can play. The school is clean, the children spend time addressing academics through journals and story time and the camera option to check in during the day is pleasant PLUS. Thank u Childrens Courtyard for your dedication to safety and off course the children.

My son has been attending for over a year and we love it. The staff and facilities are amazing! They do a great job of keeping parents informed throughout the day via an app and there is even video streaming to view the classroom. I would highly recommend this daycare.

My daughter attended this daycare for over a year and the only reason she doesn't anymore is because we moved. She started off in the baby room and was cared for wonderfully. The teachers were great with her and I never had any concerns. She then went to the toddler room with Ms. Melissa and Ms. Courtneay. I can not express how much our family appreciated these two teachers. They were so loving to our daughter and did a great job communicating with us about her care. My husband and I were able to go to work and know she was having a great time at daycare and was safe. I watched them handle difficult children's behaviors and I never saw them get upset or respond inappropriately. I also loved talking to the director, Kristen. All the staff was so kind and they know all the children by name. I was extremely sad to leave and would recommend it to everyone! It's a safe and loving environment.

Wonderful Daycare that places your child as their priority. Clean, safe, and they always update you with your child's well being. The staff is A++ that trear your children like their own. The director (Kristen) is very accessible and takes great pride in her role. Enroll your child in today. You won't regret it!

My son is in the early preschool class with Mrs Surehka and she is amazing! He is a strong willed two year old but she has a way of talking to him to get him to settle down and listen to her. He has learned so much from being care for by pawpaw to coming to the Children’s Courtyard Moss Creek! I highly recommend this center to anyone. Our experience from the past year and a half have been nothing but positive. The toddler teachers will act like your child is their own. These babies get spoiled and loved in so much. Come for a visit, you will want to stay.

I am giving a 3 star today due to the drop off experience. I have a lot of experience with daycares and I like the setup of the drop off, but it doesn't really work when an employee is parked permanently in the drop off zone. This is a great feature for busy guardians dropping off children in the morning. Maybe moving forward clients can utilize the pickup, drop off zone what it was created for. Thank you for all that you do.

The staff and administration here are nothing short of AMAZING! My daughter (age 3) is having some difficulty transitioning to a new facility. She had attended her previous center since she was 7 months, so having to switch learning centers has been hard for her. But everyone at the Courtyard has been so patient, especially Ms. Kristen (Director) and Ms. Octavia (3's Teacher). They both have gone above and beyond to comfort my daughter during drop-off (which is the only time she cries and throws a tantrum). Within the first few days of her enrollment almost everyone at the Courtyard knew my daughter's name and would warmly greet her as she would arrive, and also when she would depart. Which explains why, when I pick her up, she all smiles and having tons of fun. I also get pictures throughout the day sharing how she is doing and what she's learning- which eases any concerns for me as to how her day has gone since I dropped her off. Also, my daughter within the first week of attending the Courtyard, knew how to write her name and count up to 30. As an educator (Associate Professor of Education at UNCC) their curriculum is top notch and relevant. I would go so far as to suggest that it's likely better than many of the private, more expensive learning centers in the area. Not sure of others' experiences with this Center; but I am thoroughly satisfied with their level of care and the rigor of their curriculum. Quite honestly- they have exceeded my expectations and I tend to have very high standards!!! Great job you guys...

We love the Children’s Courtyard! The staff is incredibly nice and always available if we have questions. They constantly send updates and pictures of our baby, making it easier for us as parents to trust he’s in good hands. We’ve only been taking our son there for 3 weeks, but couldn’t imagine a better place for Liam. I highly recommend!

We got good feedback from a teacher and decided to try out this place. Our experience with front desk / admission was terrible. We were asked to provide immunization records on day 1. We requested the immunization documents from doctor but the fax did not reach them by day 2. On day 2, we were turned away during morning drop off and was told that we can come in only after the immunization documents were received. If it was about keeping kids safe how can they allow the child to attend school on day 1 and not allow on day 2?
