Owner Medha Parikh is a seasoned artist who has a cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute in Charlotte. While a student at Aveda's beauty school, she was awarded "Best with Shears" and was chosen to represent her class in a regional competition to showcase her skills in hair cutting and styling. Prior to Shears, she owned a beauty salon in Ahmedabad, India where she and her team were well-known for their hair cutting and styling expertise and Bridal preparations.
