These cheese straws were great. They're very cheesy and they have a little bit of a kick at the end. I received them as a gift and loved them!

These cheese straws are awesome! First tasted them while visiting Winston-salem NC. Have bought them every year since at The Depot at Gibson Mill. Last year I ordered them for a baby shower. Absolutely scrumptious!

Ritchie Hill Bakery was founded in 2010 by brother and sister Heath Ritchie and Beth Alm. Their secret family cheese straw recipe has been passed down for generations. From their grandmother, who baked her 1st batch in the “Ritchie Hill” family home in Concord, to their father Lee who carried on the tradition for family & friends. When Heath inherited the recipe years later, he found he couldn’t bake enough to satisfy demand. Out of necessity, our bakery was born.
Today in our bakery in the historic Old Creamery building in Concord, NC, our Southern snacks are still prepared in small batches from our original family recipes. The only difference: we now have enough to share.
