This company completely ruined what was otherwise a good day at the Coca Cola 600. After the race was shortened due to rain (even though the track was almost dry???) we proceeded to the racing electronics trailer to drop our scanners off. We arrived to a large crowd of people in several lines so we got in a line. Once we finally got close to the trailer apparently the line we were in was not actually where we were supposed to line up…the older woman working the trailer was the most rude service worker I ever met!!! She was sarcastically yelling at people to move to the other line like they were idiots and making sarcastic comments even though there was no clear signs of where to line up. Once we got to the counter she yelled at us because we didn’t just give them the scanners. Apparently you need to separate them from the headsets. Again no instructions saying to do this…once we had the separated we handed them to her in which she snapped them from our hands. We proceeded to hand her the headphones like we saw everyone else doing and she very rudely said like we were idiots “noooo, don’t give those to me…they go in the bin” and proceeded to point to a bin near the trailer. This woman was the most unpleasant person we met on our whole trip. The way she made us feel stupid is unacceptable and completely ruined our night. We paid good money for the rentals and deserve to be treated with the same respect we give to them when speaking and interacting with them. I observed this same woman being extremely rude and sarcastic to other people she. They were picking up their scanners earlier that day. It’s just not the way to treat your customers!

Terrible scanners, terrible service. Racing Electronics had a monopoly at LVMS and their customer services showed it. Employees at the trailer were about as rude as you can get, and the quality of the equipment was just as bad.
Rented one scanner with 2 headsets and missed all of the pre-race communication and the start of the race while I was attempting to trouble shoot the scanner. Pre-set channels would randomly pick up static. "New" batteries from the trailer were spent in just minutes and the "extra" set of batteries barley lasted through the race. Not a great experience for dishing out over $100. Won't make this mistake again.

If there were a negative option, we'd select as this is the most unprofessional and unethical company. Unfortunately, they have the monopoly for this product and take advantage of their customers. We were charged extra fees that were in violation of their policy, and we reached out to both the President and Sales Manager for support in having the situation resolved. No response. We will not support this company or their products. Buyer/renters aware!

Do NOT rent from this firm! We rented a scanner at Talledega and got a defective unit! Never heard a word! Couple next to us - also their unit did not work! Asked for a refund and only received a voucher! Called and asked for refund - sorry no !- voucher ONLY! We are not attending another race in the next year - so we lost our money! This was our first and last NASCAR - because of racing electronics. ?

The electronics work great and they give extra batteries and good instructions. The Bad - they have only one trailer and when you're ready to leave the race you have to give an extra 45 minutes to wait in line because they have no idea how to have good customer service after the sale. If you want to save time, buy your own headset and skip them altogether.

Rented a radio and 2 headset combo from them. One headset input Jack was faulty. Spoke with the team at the track and also the customer service team at their headquarters via phone the next business week. Was told the best they could do was offer a voucher for another rental, which has to be used within the next year. Better off just buying your radio as opposed to rolling the dice with renting.

Rip off I paid over $200 in advance to reserve two scanners and 4 headsets with intercoms, only to arrive on race day and find out they were out of equipment. They would not refund me. They offered me a voucher for "next time". For what? To show up and get no equipment again?

I paid over $200 for scanners for the event at Charlotte motor speedway. My family and I waited 48 hours for the rain to end, only to have the race moved to Monday. We had to work so we had to travel back home but we weren’t upset since they refunded us a ticket for next year. When I contacted Racing Electronics they told me no refunds or vouchers. Very out of touch with blue collar workers. Wasted $200 trying to support a sport America loves. We would have kept renting every year, but we will never do this again.

Rented two scanners and 4 talk to talk headsets for Dover. Couldn't talk all they did was squeal. Put on PRN and could barely hear it. Totally junk. Don't rent anything from them at the track!!! This was the second year in a row it happened.

This company sucks!!! The women that run the trailer at Talladega raceway are a bunch of rude, nasty ugly and old women. They ruined our raceday experience. They yelled at me twice and I saw them being very rude to other customers as well. There was one trailer serving all of Talladega raceway a 2.66 mile track. Morons and jerks running this company. I will NEVER do business with this company again!! I am considering never going to another nascar race again as well over this entire fiasco. The walk to retrieve and return the scanners was brutal. How do you only have 1 trailer for a track that big? Morons I tell you. I will be contacting nascar to inform them of my displeasure with this company.

I took my grandson to the 600 this weekend. Want to make it a great experience so I rented the headsets, 2 headsets to talk to each other and the scanner. First, there was only one place to pick up the headsets which was outside the track and on the other side of the track from our seats. Only one side of my headset worked. We couldn't talk to each other. I could talk to him, but he couldn't talk to me. The scanner constantly had to be programed back to NASCAR. Due to the engine noise of the cars, we couldn't hear the drivers talk until there was a caution. We had to return them to the same trailer, so we had to go all the way around to the other side of the track. I think everyone that rented headsets were there at the same time. I figured out why they didn't wok properly because the way they threw the headsets behind them when you handed them back in. Was my first and last time renting them from Racing Electronics. Ordered the headset scanner starter set on a Friday afternoon - less than 10 days before the Indy500. I needed them delivered to NJ by the following Wednesday as we were leaving for Indy early Thursday. Shannon took my call, answered all my questions, and double-checked the shipping date and cost to ensure I received everything on time. She was super friendly and helpful and, as promised, we got everything on time - and preprogrammed for IndyCar. Once we figured out how to connect and operate, the headsets worked beautifully during the race and the microphones were clear and loud. Our only challenge was attaching the ear muffs (there must be a trick but I guess we'll get practice because apparently the batteries are behind the ear piece!)

25 minutes before the race at Kansas there was still 100+ people in line. Stood in line for 10 minutes and it wasn't moving just getting longer. Didn't even bother redeeming my $90 rental.

I had to buy new scanner today because my 4 year old set wouldn't turn on and the damm thing didn't pick anything up after being told was programmed. Got at Darlington speedway track on May 8. Thanks for alllowing me to not hear the best part of racing. Wish could give negative stars.
