“I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. This post office has wonderfully helpful people and everything you need to send packages or letters through the mail. The only reason this isn't a five is the décor and design of the place could feel a little more welcoming, and sometimes there is only one person assisting customers so the wait can be longer than necessary. But it's very functional. Everything you expect from the post office”

“I received very excellent service at this location. I had a package that was about to be returned to sender, that I was worried was not going to make it to me. I was helped at the front desk by a very kind person and my issue was solved that morning.”
“They have a very special price for those who serve in the army, whatever branch it may be.
I wanted to send a package via UPS to Poland where my son is, and it was very expensive, according to them, normal mail would cost me half the price.
We tried, and they tell me that it is not possible, that there is no connection, that they are not getting there because of how close it is to Ukraine.
Well, I sent it to them for $633.00.
But in 2 days my package arrived at my house, which for some reason they couldn't send it, (I'm still fighting for my refund)
Well, the following Monday I go to my Post Office, and they tell me that they have special prices for the Military, I send the same box, with the same weight, for $20, and cents.
It's not even $21, it really surprised me.
AND I THANK GOD, AND THE GOVERNMENT, WHO SUPPORT THE MILITARY, AND THEIR FAMILIES.”
“Small little post office. The gentleman there was quick & efficient. I highly recommend using QR codes & prepaying for USPS services when possible. I love how they can just pull your label & print it for you.”
“I was looking for the Harrisburg post office hours, and realized the rating was a 2.4. That is insane! The workers at this post office have always been super kind and helpful. I do not know why people would decide to write them with so many low stars. Ridiculous! if you need something, they help you; if you have a question, they answer it; if you’re trying to do something, they give you good recommendations. This place has great employees.”
“I just gave one star because you had to buy I would give negative if I could. I was their this morning and for the second time, caught a really bad attitude from the lady at the desk. She was also very rude to a sweet old white lady that walked in but in comes this black lady and she became the nicest person. I called her out on it and she just got more of an attitude, didn't disagree or anything. I'm not a racist person by no means but when someone is so obviously racist towards me, I'll call them out every time. Also, post master acted like it was no issue at all. She must have been racist to.”
“I usually drop off packages at self service or at the counter, but I needed to mail a passport application. Something caught in my throat, & I started coughing. I believe her name was Lauren, the USPS worker who was helping me with expedited shipping. She calmly handed me a bottle of water from a 6 pack at her desk, let me catch my breath & went back to helping me. She was very sweet to my daughter as well. Great service, with a smile & no judgment for coughing (coming out of the past 3yrs when you'd feel like a leper if you coughed in public).”
“There have been a few accountable staff members at this post office that have been faithful and then there are those that when they hit that time clock, ought to never return as they are ruining it for everybody else. STOP placing other customers mail in
my box and give me all the mail that has my name and or PO box number on it!! 22 years of paying for this box and you're still clownin.”
