First of all, the blatant disrespect was absolutely disheartening. My pet had a 9:30 am appointment this morning so we arrived around 9:15. We were the only people in the grooming section when a young lady greeted us. I acknowledged her and was looking through my phone to locate my pet's vaccination records. She advised that my groomer was in the back and she would get her. The groomer/manager Autumn came out and advised that she would have to cut my dog bald. It is cold and rainy out so I protested and instructed that I do not want my dog to be cut bald due to the weather. She advised that she was going to because of her coat. Again, I stated that I wanted her cut a place up from bald due to the condition and weather and I do not understand why I can't get what I am asking for when I am a paying customer. Autumn continues and so finally I stated go ahead and placed my pet on the counter for her so that she could grab my pet and James who I wasn't even booked with comes over and stated they were refusing to serve me because I had an attitude and I was accused of animal cruelty because my dog hair was a little matted. First of all, I never abused my dog and I am pissed that I was accused of something as such. Petco will never get my business again and BEWARE, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET HERE! I contacted corporate as well and filed a complaint on Autumn and James.

?I scheduled all vaccinations for my dogs at this clinic. Very careful and fast! My dogs?? don't like this procedure, but the staff is very attentive and helpful. I don't worry about the health of my pets. The price for two dogs is about $200. Thank you for your job, guys!???

Yolanda did the grooming of my dog on 08/29/23. She poked his right eye with a sharp object. When I picked up my dog, I asked what happened. She said it's been there when I dropped which is a total lie as I pay close attention to my dog and I'll know if anything like that happened to him. She took the help of front desk guy to say yes to what she lied about. My dog couldn't open his eye for two days which scared me. He has been on antibiotics since last 10 days, still cannot open his eyes now and then. Enclosing the pictures from today. It would have been nice if she at least admitted her mistake. My poor dog suffered because of her. Never to this grooming place again as my dog's safety is more important to me.

This is the worst vetco clinic I have ever been. The vet and her assistants didn't know one of my two cats needed to have rabies after I told one or two people at least twice. After I corrected that, they did give that to my cat, but they didn't put it on my visit summary. If I didn't find that, then next year, I would give my cat another rabies vaccine which is typically for 3 years. Another confusion is they didn't scale my cats' weight, and just randomly gave Revolution to one of my cats for flea control. Revolution is based on cats' weight. Worst experience!!! And they only have two towels for all the cats, this is so risky for indoor cats to get virus from other cats/dogs.

Took my dog here last november up til the new year. Recently found out they over charged me for 1. 2nd they never cleaned my dogs ears puss was coming out a matt grew down in her ear they never ever alerted me found out when a matt grew on the outside from her scratching then they didnt express her glads at all. I dont know what i was being charged for i have had to take her to the pet doc 2 times now because of this reported this issue i paid that bill as well the petco in concord is horrible. They basically washed and cut her and kept her all day for nothing. She is a sweet 16 yr very calm tempered dog. Im so upset and still have not heard from the manager district mangr. And i called corp. Next move court. Sorry nt srry

I tried to come here after being told by the vet I would need to bottle feed my new born pups. Online said close at 9. I walked up at 757 and saw the lady lock the door. The door signage said closes at 8. I tried to call real quick to see if they even had bottles and the phone just rang. Thankfully their competitor actually stayed open to 9. PetSmart literally just helped save my new born pups.

The customer service in general is pretty lousy. I brought my small cheweenie to be washed and groomed. I go to Carolina pet vet to get her shots when they are in my area. The certificate they give you has all the info written on it and the new rabies tag is attached to the paperwork. Petco refused to accept the paperwork because it was written in pen. It had the rabies # on the paper and it matched the rabies tag on my dogs collar. I was furious.

I have been to this location several times for grooming service and to purchase pet food and I've had a consistent problem with the customer service and now the additional cost for grooming of my puppy. My puppy, a Shih Poo, is 11 months. Last visit, while checking out, James mentioned that my dog was a "brat" which is quite rude given that he is a puppy. Today, no one was in the grooming area when I arrived for my appointment and when someone came in, it was not pleasant. It took about 4 hours and when I went to arrived I was handed the receipt and went in the shop to pay for my service as normal. I didn't realize that my normal $58 service was now $87. It would have made sense to tell me the extra fees when I was handed the receipt. When I went back in to pick up my puppy, James simply said "he was matted so there was extra fees." No where does it say anything about extra fees and he was not matted as I just combed in before he arrived and he was wet on his paws because it rained and the backyard was wet. I said "why didn't you tell me that when I walked in instead of letting me go to the register. " No clear reason, just "he was matted." As I'm walking out, he says "oh btw, next time book with me because the other groomer had a hard time with him, he was wiggly and I had to step in and clean up his face." I was clearly annoyed because he is a puppy so I'm not even sure what to do with that information. I don't expect to budget $90 for grooming service at Petco. When I brought him home his ears were irritated and I'm concern given the language use to describe my puppy was he being handled properly. This will be my last time at the Concord Petco location for these reasons. I don't feel comfortable leaving my puppy there giving how thy have labeled him and making it seem like my 8 lb puppy is giving them a hard time.

Refused to let me price match my cat food and filter. Not to mention their ferrets are laying in their own feces and they have reptiles crowded on top of each other. Save your time & money and go somewhere that you can price match.

I'll start by saying that my dog's hair was in much need of grooming. He hadn't been groomed in a long time due mostly to my health issues. I told them he was going to need a lot of grooming. I picked him up 5 1/2 hours later and the photos will show you how they got the mats out of his hair.

My friend and I noticed a bullfrog in the planted tank. We asked an associate about it, and she said he was probably just dropped off there by someone who didn't want him. My friend wanted to take him in for a better home (frogs don't belong in tanks like that), and the associate said to call back the next morning to talk with the aquatics specialist. We called this morning, and the specialist said he's not for sale, and the frog will just stay in the tank (and most likely die!). This was very disappointing. On a better note, the cashier at this location, Amelie, is consistently helpful and nice. Thank you, Amelie!
