I overall had a pretty good experience at this salon. I’m new to the area, and I loved my nail salon from my hometown like no other. It makes me nervous going to new salons and unfortunately I will probably not be going back. The lady who did my nails did exactly what I asked for and did them so nice I would have originally gone back. I got them done on Wednesday of last week and they are already broken. My polish chipped 4 days later, and the whole tip of my nail broke off.. super, super frustrating and disappointing since I just paid for these less than a week ago. If I could go back and try again I would, but I’m not paying if they’re going to break.

Absolutely worst pedicure EVER! Looked worse leaving than when I came in. My toe nails were differnt shapes and the paint was messy. Employee was argumentative about everything and very impatient. I generally don't complain but the service was horrible. They made the same employee fix it and she then took it out on my toes...she was rough and whined and argued me and put the blame on me...borderline threw a tantrum because she had to fix her own mess. Will not be back!

I went to NOA for the first time today and requested a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The wait was 15 minutes. The establishment is beautiful but I had a horrible experience. The pedicurist and manicurist were working simultaneously (which was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE) because I was unable to just RELAX and enjoy the pedicure. When I expressed my uncomfortableness the 2 technicians began speaking (in their language) and it was OBVIOUS that they were talking about me! HOW VERY RUDE! I asked to have my nails trimmed down to remove just the tip (my nails are rounded) and the technician cut my ENTIRE thumb nail down to the skin ! Then proceeded to tell me that my nails are too brittle! Ma'am I've NEVER been told that before! Additionally, the floors are ceramic tile and VERY SLIPPERY (especially when wet) yet there are signs all over the place stating that the floors are slippery BUT if you fall THEY are not liable?!?! Ummm I'm new to NC but I've always believed that if someone gets hurt in an establishment and it's not their fault (ie; they didn't intentionally spill water on the floor) then the establishment is FULLY RESPONSIBLE! I'll check the NC Laws! They didn't have the colors I wanted in gel (just SNS) and my nails have NEVER looked so SLOPPY! When I asked if I could just book two separate appointments for my nails and pedicure I was told that I can just request that when I arrive next time. There won't be a next time though

My first time coming to the salon, originally wanted a green french tip but just switched to a white because I couldn’t find a color. When I was asking for a way I prefer my nails, the nail tech proceeded to call it ugly and call over another tech who also called them ugly (wanted a thin french and i know it didn’t cover my entire nail) and wanted me/urging me to do it another way. After that another girl just sat and watched, making me feel even worse for doing my nails just now I prefer them. The only reason I’m giving two star is because they actually turned out cute but only because I was persistent about what I wanted.

I hate that I have to edit my previous 5 star review. I came here about 3 weeks ago for the first time and experienced pretty amazing service and my nails turned out great, so I definitely wanted to come back when it was time for a fill. My nails started lifting a lot sooner than they previously ever have, which I thought was odd but ignored. I scheduled an appt online which was not confirmed until 3 min before my appt time. When I got there, Mackenzie began working on my nails. I asked her about her opinion on different sets and she was extremely rude to me. She was also super rude to clients on the phone right in front of me and even hung up on a client who was asking questions and wanted to be sure she could come in and see the same nail tech. She was on the store’s phone, her personal phone, and doing my nails all at the same time. I felt burning pain in my pinky throughout the service which I told her about. Now I know due to other nail technicians informing me that she filed my nail too deeply. Again, she was not paying close attention. I booked a French set and showed her pictures of the type of French and pardon my ignorance but I didn’t know the name for the exact type of French I wanted. When I told her that, she was upset and took my nail polish off and redid it, but extremely sloppily. My nails have multiple mistakes and I left the store covered in nail polish and acrylic and my finger still burns. You can literally see my refill under my nails and you can feel the bumps in my nails. Again, the whole service was rushed, rude, and I don’t think I’ll be back for $70+. My first appt was great and maybe this was a bad day, but I don’t wish to return.
