Best bookstore around (and we've visited a lot of bookstores)! Well curated selection, super-helpful staff, and the perfect ambience, all connected by a hallway to the coffeehouse next door. Great mix of new and gently used books. Love this place!

Gorgeous bookstore and great staff. Definitely on the high-end of pricing, though. Love how it connects to the neighboring coffee shop.

Our family's favorite bookstore! Beautifully curated selection of books, cozy atmosphere, and excellent employees. I would give it more stars if I could.

Was in town for a business appointment in mid December and afterwards had time to stop by this book shop. Very nice atmosphere and good selection of topics and books for this size of store. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Purchased a good read for the holidays. Would recommend a visit and will be back by when next in Concord.

Such a cool, unique place. The selection was interesting and well-curated. Left with an armful of books and can’t wait to go back!

My favorite bookstore in the greater Charlotte area (and there are a lot of good ones!). They have a fantastic selection of books plus awesome non-book gifts, and the store itself is beautiful — plus it's connected to a café for maximum coziness. Their social media presence is also great, and I love the reading challenges they've done the past couple years. I just love everything about this place.

This is a beautiful store in downtown Concord. A very friendly staff that’s always willing to help. If they don’t have the book in store they can order it for you!

I went during the week before Thanksgiving, was greeted by the owner and he let me stay a few moments after closing time and I was grateful. Some homey feeling, big smiles and great prices. I would be back! #SmallBusinessSaturdays

Goldberry Books is the epitome of a book store. When you close your eyes and think of “local book store”, Goldberry fits that image. It’s cozy, it smells good, and it’s full to the brim with books. YEAH, BOOKS!! Void of any gaudy trinkets and toys, it’s full of books. Oh there are some trinkets, but they are extremely bookish and cozy and cute. But the books! David curates his inventory to carry the best of the best. Orthodox religion, education, lifestyle, fiction and non-fiction, children’s and young readers, and more. He has all the classics, and the best modern selections. The young readers section is full of wholesome material, so I can trust my kids can pick a good book. The children’s section is filled with the most beautiful picture books, and there are toys and stuff, so my kids can play without ever seeming like a burden. OH! And there are used books scattered about, so you might get the exciting moment of grabbing a book off the shelf and seeing the used price tag. And there is David, the owner, who is the nicest guy. He’s not just some guy behind the counter - you can tell he truly has a passion for books and art, which is evident by the number of podcasts he hosts. Anyways. This review was supposed to sound good because I want to convince everyone to go. Because is there is any place I want to become a Concord institution (along side Mullis Music), it’s Goldberry Books. I hope in 30 years my kids go to buy books from David.
