I usually hate coming to this store as the younger generation bagging and the cashiers are usually awful with zero home training and absolutely no customer service at all. Kaden made my day! First, he greeted me in much a pleasant manner…THIS! NEVER! happens (unless I lucky to get one of the wonderful older women who are so nice to engage with and know what they are doing). Kaden was very personable and has great manners. He also bagged my groceries in the proper way unlike 98% of the baggers in any grocery store (unless again it’s the 2%, one of the older women who know how to properly bag). It gives me hope in this younger generation that there are some who are professional, are courteous and actually know how to do their jobs. Kaden absolutely should train his peers! And he deserves some type of acknowledgment because honestly this type of service is few and far between. I believe the managers name is Kelly and I hope you read this and know you hired a a gem! I was really impressed!

Literally the absolute worst food lion I’ve ever been to. There is one older woman in there that always makes sure she’s got something to say to me. One day it’s about how I use my card, another is about how I bag my groceries, and one time I wanted to pay with cash and she swore the self checkout would accept it even though a sign said CARD ONLY and she made me checkout self checkout just to have to go to the register with her afterwards and pay there. She’s always so rude and belittling for no reason, cool idc that you’ve worked at a grocery store for a long time. I’ve also worked at one before too but that gives me no right to walk up to people and tell them they’re doing this or that wrong. Please teach your employees how to properly interact with your customers.

My go-to food store great staff! Kelly is a great manager! Well stocked just can't get scrapple all the time plenty of LIVERmush tho also seafood is far behind all competitors but most of the clientele don't care. Very clean with the best staff in the chain!

Disgusting store that is filthy. Do yourself a favor and shop at Publix. I was recently buying some beer and chicken wings and the self checkout attendant, took it upon herself to "help me". She stacked my hot bar items on the scale. Putting her bare hands all over my food containers and I told her I would like to weigh my separate items separately and I stack the items I will be paying $9 a lb for the container. These are the big thick clamshells too. The scale is made to tare only one container. So she then proceeded to tell me to watch how the price is the same. This self checkout too. There was a few dollar difference and I said "How do you not know how to tare a scale". She said she does not eat chicken or drink beer in a very condescending manner. I returned everything and went to Publix down the street.
When I worked at a grocery store I don't care what people buy, as long as they buy it and not steal it. Stacking multiple containers with one tare weight is stealing from me.

As of a few months ago, I've been having more and more issues with the shoppers for delivery or pickup services.
Produce literally already going bad. Ignoring my replacement choices. Missing items. Items I never ordered.
I don't even understand how someone picks up a vegetable/fruit that is literally rotting/wilting/slimy and thinks that should go in the cart.
Because I can't even get a refund or replacement unless I drive the items all the way back to the store myself.
My husband was recently in the physical store and when he tried to let a worker know that a certain pack of chicken was rotting, the worker told him it "looked fine" until my husband offered for him to smell the pack. You could smell it rotting through the packaging.
Additionally, even though I always pick my replacement options before they begin shopping for me, I keep getting random replacements that are completely different brands and/or products without them even bothering to message me like they used to. This is a big issue for me, because I am limited on what brands I can have due to a medical condition/allergy.
What is going on at this location now?!

Kelsea should not be in customer service. Second encounter with her when she’s been completely rude and dismissive for no reason at all. Simple western union exchange, it’s rude to speak behind your computer screen and even ruder to be unapproachable in the service industry. If you dislike your position and working with the general public ask for a different position. I could’ve ruined this woman’s day with my words but I decided to keep humble and just not acknowledge her at all either. Won’t be returning to this location!

I've been using their pickup and delivery services for a few years. I'm not sure what's been going on lately, but I've had more and more issues with my deliveries including produce that is already going bad.I don't even understand how someone picks up a vegetable that is literally rotting/wilting/slimy and thinks that should go in the cart. I would rather just be told you are out and refund me. Because otherwise, I can't get a refund unless I drive the items all the way back to the store myself.Even my onions have been bad! Do you know how long it takes for onions to go bad? Or how obvious is it that a SQUISHY onion is not edible?After the first few sporadic times, I just assumed it was bad/rushed day, a new person, etc.But now it's happening so much and causing me so much inconvenience, that I started ordering everything except produce from Food Lion, then getting all of my produce from a different grocery store.It sucks, because Food Lion is one of the more affordable places near me. And I used to have really good experiences with the shoppers and their communications to me.

Good luck finding someone that works there. Twice now I've had the experience that there were only self checkouts, but certain items you can't use self checkouts for. The store has definitely gone downhill.
