This location has never been the best but lately it has become extra sketchy and honestly kind of dangerous. It's a dollar store so you expect apathetic employees and questionable service but wow.I don't know if it's the bin store that moved in, the closeness to downtown and the homeless population or the fact they sell cheap beer and malt liquor now but this place has started attracting the wrong crowd.Every time we go there someone is hanging around out front, loitering around the store even hanging by the registers with the employees. These people aren't shopping they are just there.The final straw for my family at least came Saturday when there were three vagrants in lawn chairs openly drinking in front of the store like it was a backyard bbq. This is not an exaggeration at all, just three people sitting in lawn chairs brown bagging beers at one in the afternoon. Not the sight I want my kids to see after a fun day of Christmas shopping.

Customer service is great however I thought I lost my card and I live 30 mins away and they will not pick up the phone I've called 30 times in 2 days and nothing.

I stopped by earlier and the young man running the register was rude. For starters he didn't even speak when I came in nor as I approached the counter. I spoke twice before he even spoke. He gave me my total and after I paid, I asked for the receipt he then tells me to grab it myself.....I mentioned the manager and he stated he was the manager.I told him, he couldn't be the manager acting like that. If by chance, he is the manager I would hate to see his staff. I left the store speechless. I'm not sure who the regional manager of that store is however I hope there's a training to help him learn how to deal with customers in a more positive way.

This store should just close. Had to wait for employee to get $$ to pay for his stuff and wouldn't do a return for items that my Mom bought day she died. Been up there 2x to do it and once they were closed early and another time there was a line and only one person working. I just left items in store and will never be back!

BRO at this point what does FAMILY DOLLAR even have operating hours for !? The ones in Concord clearly close and open when they feel like it. Like it clearly states that this location closes at 9, but when you get to the store it states they close at 5 today and tomorrow!! HUH !! So we do what we want when we want oh ok ! Good to know!!!!!!

I was at the family dollar on branchview Friday 9/24/2021and when me and my daughter went we were greeted by the most pleasant customer atmosphere and felt the love from the employees one employee stood out very professional, good humor, and always kept a smile and a exceptional since of humor and interacted with every customer and they all left with a smile I believe her name was CHERI the atmosphere that she gave will make this a great place to shop and leave with a smile ? and definitely be back to shop dont know where you found her but y'all need more people like her and is extremely good at what she does and that is not only customer service but you leave feeling like family ? I'll definitely be back and she better be there to make the place feel warm with great respect for her job and the customers ive been in quite a few family dollar stores they were ok but the one off branchview tops all since she has come aboard as a family dollar team player when I experience that great of warmth , happiness, and a part of the family dollar family i would definitely definitely definitely love for this post to make it to the top at family dollar corporate office so that they see that not only did y'all hire the perfect one but the best one I've seen in a very long time I had quit shopping at family dollar but with the remarkable experience that I had its definitely worth going back and back with no hesitation its people like her that employer's love to hear about and the feeling that you came in with and left with again I think her name was CHERI she just makes you feel first and the most important so family dollar please please please please keep her at that store because she will definitely make a great manager one day and family dollar will always and forever see that that store is definitely going to be beyond customer friendly service and feel like home to all and family dollar hiring her was the best and greatest asset to the company so with that said CHERI keep doing what you are doing and don't change anything because you will make a name for yourself and go places like MANAGER of that store and show customer's that there is a fanomanal thing that has brightened up the place with a strong electric feeling keep up the extremely great job and don't change anything thank you for your greatness ? ? ? and pride you put in what you do and the customer service greatness a now believer in family dollar again THANK YOU for all that you contribute not only your job but your customers again I would definitely love for this to go to the district manager and to the top of the ladder and see that there is greatness in people
